Got this from Netflix yesterday, and I thought I'd do a little rundown for you all.

 

The Good:

 

All 20 season 1 episodes with commentary on each, loads of behinds the scenes stuff and deleted scenes.

 

Seth Green not only gets guest voices like the guy who did Brainy Smurf, Macaulay Culkin, Mila Kunis, Mark Hamill, and the cast of the live action Scooby Doo movies, he also gets them to do commentary on their episodes as well. You haven't lived till you hear Sarah Michelle Gellar mark out over being able to say Fred's ascot looks gay. It was also a hoot to find out Linda Cardellini (who not only was Velma, was also in Brokeback Mountain, and is Sam on ER) was the voice of the asian massuse who wants to give her client a happy ending.

 

Seth gives a lot of behind the scenes info, like how they tried to get the real voice of Optimus Prime, and how some people think they're too good to do their show yet Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise not only did the show, they spent hours in the recording booth just ad libbing.

 

They also show not only the commericals for the premeire of the show, they include the Adult Swim "bumps" hyping the show as well.

 

 

The Bad:

 

The skit where Beavis and Butthead join the Teen Titans was cut, resulting in an episode only lasting 8 minutes. I can't figure out why, since one of the extras goes into detail about the clearances they go through to use something on the show.

 

Some minor music changes, to be honest I really didn't notice till I saw it pointed out on the web. Still, those things bother some people so I list it.

Damn! They cut the part where Beavis and Butthead join the Teen Titans???

 

That sucks more than anything has sucked before!

If you're like me and had never seen nor heard of Robot Chicken before, there are some clips here. Funny stuff. Between this and The Boondocks, I know at least two Cartoon Network DVD sets I'll be adding to my collection.
