You take some of the best members from other units and combine them here in Monterrey for a super prick faction. Perro was the main focal point of there attack with Porky getting his chance to shine as well. I think the only thing holding this back from being great would have been a bit more hate and Safari and Lizmark being more than just warm bodies. Overall, a ton of good spots and work by Satanico and after disappearing for a while, he is back at the Fall of the year to make another claim at being a top 10 worker of 2000. Coming off the heels of Steiner vs Goldberg, no way was this near as athletically impressive as that match, but it made more sense. ***1/2 (7.1)
May 2, 20187 yr comment_5846466 Monterrey sure loves to stack the rudo side. So much so that trios matches aren't big enough and they keep running atomicos. Somewhat surprising then that the match didn't get going until the tecnicos made their comeback. All that rudo talent on display but the beatdown was mailed in. It took a fired up Perro to salvage anything from this. One thing that's become apparent watching the entire year is that there is good old man Perro and not-so-good old man Perro. This was the good Perro. He took the energy up another level and thanks to him there were some fun exchanges before the inevitable foul. Perro was still going at it after the bell which warmed the cockles of my jaded, faded heart.
July 13, 20187 yr comment_5856659 Not much to say about this match except I loved the part where Satanico goes to headbutt porky, Porky no-sells it and pokes him in the eye. Perro looked slower in this but was still fired up. Rudos didn't have much to work with Safari and Lizmark Jr.
