While Nash got fucked over royally on the Walton jumpball play, he shouldn't have coughed the ball up to Smush Parker in regulation which lead to OT.

The Suns are finished on tuesday. I find it funny ESPN and TNT are completely ignoring how Nash got buttfucked on the jumpball play and are basically verbally blowing Kobe.

Looks like a fresh, new 3 game series to me.

Be afraid GH, be very afraid.

In all seriousness, the Spurs do have a tendency to fall back on their laurels a bit when they go up 2-0 in a series. (vs. Lakers 2004, vs Pistons in the Finals although the Spurs pulled it out) Still, the Kings NEED game 5 to win this thing. I think game 5 is going to be a barn burner and not a blowout.

You shouldn't be worried. Statistics are on your side. I believe teams who start a series 2-0 usually win 80% or more. Still, it's nice to see the Kings have some resolve, especially after getting smoked in game 1.

BTW goodhelmet, I believe Game 5 is going to be broadcast on NBA TV and not nationally. :(

The Mavs finished off Memphis tonight. I kinda feel bad for the Grizz...I hope they get the seeding situation fixed next season.

Those crazy Lakers and those wacky sexual assault allegations...

Lakers center being investigated in reported sexual assault

Associated Press

National Basketball Association News Wire

LOS ANGELES -- Police said Tuesday they are investigating whether Los Angeles Lakers center Kwame Brown was involved in a reported sexual assault.

"The assault is alleged to have occurred in the early morning hours of April 29," said Officer Jason Lee, a police spokesman.

The Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns in Game 3 of their NBA playoff series the night before.

The case is under investigation by the department's Robbery Homicide Division. Police have notified the district attorney's office of the investigation.

Team spokesman John Black said the 24-year-old Brown was with the team but wouldn't comment further.

No further details were immediately available.

The Lakers were in Phoenix to play the Suns in Game 5 of their Western Conference playoff series Tuesday night.

So the Pacers got nothing in return when they traded away Artest?

As far as this playoff series goes, yeah, basically.

If the Pacers have Artest, there's no doubt in my mind they beat Jersey, and I think they beat Miami, as well, though I'm sure many would disagree with that POV. We don't get any farther than that, though, with the way the Pistons have played this year.

I am surprised they wouldn't have a game 7 featuring Kobe vs Raja and the MVP on ABC Sunday afternoon. Oh well. TNT's coverage is way better anyways.

I'm not saying the Kings are going to win the series, but they are good for 7 games. I'm calling it. Kings are taking one in Arco on friday and ABC is going to be showing Game 7 Kings/Spurs.

I am a clairvoyant :)

Once Artest twisted his ankle, the Kings were toast. Not because they couldn't have made a game out of it but because they tried to make Artest the hero who stuck it out while being a detriment to his team. The Spurs attacked Artest once he was hobbled and it helped them build their big lead.

Now, it's time to go play the real Western Conference Finals.

Congrats to the Spurs. They showed why they are the champions. I didn't like the let down once Artest turned the ankle. If anything, I think they should've used that as a rallying point. Still, the Spurs made huge shots and played their best defensive game of the playoffs tonight when it mattered the most.

With the Kings gone, I just need the Lakers to be eliminated and then I can watch the playoffs worry-free.

Let me get your guys' take on this...

In that Game 7 Lakers game, Kobe only attempted 3 shots in the 2nd half. Do you think he was sending a message to Phil and his team or did he just run out of gas? To me, as a bonafide Kobe hater, it looked like he was pouting, trying to send a statement about who makes the team go. On the other hand, Kenny Smith made a good point... Kobe is the only guy he knows who can get criticized for taking too many shots or not enough shots. What is your take?
