A fiery opening and then progressively more hate with each other with Fuerza going after the mask in the later stages. Pimpinela was also vicious and not just comedy in this match including choking Lizmark on the outside. The payback spots by the tecnicos in the third fall when things broke down was well done with Fuerza getting unmasked big time and Felino doing a foul. Referee was too involved from the jump in this match and with Fuerza’s mask being disorganized, he starts attacking the ref because he can’t see. Finish has Lizmark also giving a foul to Pimpinela and the referee after deliberation awards the match to the rudos. Your usual Monterrey bullshit of good wrestling mixed with referee nonsense. *** (6.1)
May 24, 20187 yr comment_5850841 I keep waiting for a match where Fuerza takes over and delivers a performance of old but it never happens. This was probably his best performance all year which isn't saying much. I don't know what happened to post-96 Fuerza but his charisma took a nose dive. It's weird because he still looks like he has the physical tools. Some decent stuff from Pimpi as usual but Felino was more interested in doing his pissing pose than tearing it up on the mat with Fuerza and the others were window dressing. Monterrey really is like diggin' in the crates compared to IWRG and CMLL. Hopefully, we can unearth some hidden gems in time.
June 30, 20187 yr comment_5855271 Good show by Fuerza and Felino. I loved their pairing in the opening fall and both guys carried portions of this with their charisma and some solid work. This just kind of drifted along at a nice pace and represented the sweet spot of an "easily digestible match". The comedy and nonsense was sprinkled in but didn't overwhelm everything going on and that was a huge plus here. Really really fun trios match. ***1/2
