Just curious. I am extremely nearsighted and I've been considering getting it. I surprisingly don't know very many people that have gotten it done. So has anyone here gotten it done. Would you do it again? Was the laser to the eye weird?

I've gotten it done. So far so good, it really worked well. It's been about 5 or 6 years now and I see great. The laser thing is kind of weird and momentarily uncomfortable but it doesn't take super long and it's just part of it, so what can you do.

How bad was the dry eye afterwards?

I don't recall it being that bad really. I had to sleep with glasses on for a week or whatever but I don't recall it being much of a hassle.

My uncle and father have had it. Both are big fans.

I've been thinking about this for years. I'm thinking I might finally do it soon.
