Posted May 14, 200619 yr comment_4937405 I just picked up a used GBA, and I see that apparenly the version of Super Mario Bros 1 has been discontinued. None of the EBs here have any used copies left, does anyone here have a copy they're looking to part with?
May 15, 200619 yr comment_4940771 There's a Gameboy Color version of the game floating around out there somewhere as well. If you can find it it's probably cheaper.
May 15, 200619 yr comment_4941325 I looked on e-bay and the Gamestop website. You definately should consider the Gameboy Color version. You'll pay out the ass on e-bay and Gamestop is selling the game used for what it cost new.
May 16, 200619 yr comment_4942581 The GBC version, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, has added content, but it's like a way "zoomed in" version. It really knocks down the perfect control and wide view you normally get. You can usually hit up dept stores that have reduced stock and find it, like k-mart and sears. I just checked half.com, which I usually would recommend, and..it's insane--30 bucks? WTF?! I should be able to snare you a copy, at least a used one. Is it essential that it be complete?
May 16, 200619 yr Author comment_4942848 I just snagged the GB Color version off half.com for $8 +shipping. If I'm not mistaken, aren't the "lost levels" in it just the Japanese version of SMB 2?
