From the WO site:

Though the launch date for it has yet to be revealed, Ring of Honor has announced some of the details for their HonorClub subscription service.

There will be two tiers for HonorClub, with there being a standard membership offered at $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year and an annual VIP subscription that costs $119.99 per year. The annual VIP membership includes all ROH pay-per-views, while the standard subscription offers a 50 percent discount for PPV purchases that are made digitally.

Both subscription options will include live streaming of "On Tour" events, plus access to ROH's television archive and the events that are made available in their on-demand library. Other benefits include access to ticket pre-sales and 15 percent off ROH-branded merchandise in their pro shop.

ROH noted that HonorClub's debut is "imminent." Current Ringside Members will have their subscriptions automatically converted to HonorClub ones until their membership expires.

The service will be available via computers and mobile devices through ROH's website at launch. ROH's announcement also says that HonorClub will be available through their "new ROH App on Android and iOS, and channels on Roku, Apple TV, and Android TV as a Beta version for select fans," with an official launch for those platforms coming soon.

That's.....actually not to bad. They aren't completely cutting their throats on PPVs like WWE did while beating them to the punch with different tiers.

I am shocked they didn't fuck that up. I'm not in love with the current day product but I will probably subscribe to this.

I would say there’s still time. I think after the Floslam debacle, people are going to be less likely to drop a lump sum with such a limited archive. To me, that’s the obvious key to the whole thing. Especially when there are a handful of great services already available at the same price point. They only have Omega for a few dates a year so it’s pretty much going to draw based on the Young Bucks, I guess. And the one guy that was a really big Rhett Titus and Mike Bennett fan or wants to relive the glory days of the Cornette era.

Is there a reason they haven't tried to monetize the 2002-07 era archive over the recent period? Did it just take them forever to get up and running? It's still not confirmed those shows will be available. It feels like they are leaving lots of money on the table.

There’s a lot of copyrighted music on those shows, so I’d bet that would be one of the roadblocks.

Exactly, for their DVD releases in recent years with matches from any events of that era have the entrances cut due to this. So to go back and re-edit the whole show will take some time so that's probably why they haven't gotten around to it.

HonorClub launched today. I've tried to access the website, but it appears to have too much traffic right now. I'm definitely going sign up for VIP. They stated that they will have apps launching soon for iOS and Android, as well as Roku, Apple TV, and Android TV channels.

Why is it impossible for me to find out what VOD content is on the service? I want to subscribe but only if they have a good selection of 2002-2007 stuff. The details on what this actually includes right now are pretty vague.

the VOD is Sinclair era only, so far

Anyone start the Romantic Touch thread in The Microscope yet?
