This match was for the FIP Florida Heritage title. Davis has been the champ for almost a year. He doesn't wrestle much anymore but when I've seen him, he's been really good. I liked the story of the match of him just destroying Darby with chops and throwing him all over the place. Darby takes his usual crazy bumps including getting slammed on the stage af the Orpheum. Darby does a crazy dive off a big pole near the roof of the building that has to be seen to believe. I didn't know what to expect from this but it turned out to be one of the better matches I've seen this year. The show is worth watching but this match especially.

Yeah, this was pretty fun. If you dig Darby's matches, then you'll get a kick out of this as it's the Darby vs. bigger dude type of match. Davis beats the heck out of Darby with some stiff strikes while bullying him around -- meanwhile Darby tries to use his speed to out pace and catch Davis with his innovative high risk offense. That backdrop on the stage and the Coffin Drop from the pole were pretty insane spots. I also really dug how they keep the finish simple and didn't seem them go into overboard with the 2.99 kickouts. Good stuff.
