March 6, 20187 yr comment_5834646 I have to defend the DiBiase theme on these grounds: the "vibe" of the song with "money money money" is a direct lift of "Louie, Louie"....they kind of sound alike. Also Hogan had "Hulk Hogan's Theme" for a hot second between Eye of the Tiger and Real American....and I liked that one quite a bit and so did the guy who composed it since it got reused in "Ravishing" by Bonnie Tyler. Still love Hogan in WCW with "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" and playing the belt like a guitar. Really enjoyed this show.
March 7, 20187 yr comment_5834700 Good listen. Thanks for the shout out. Learned tons listening to this one! The Lord Landsdowne stuff got me laughing.
March 17, 20187 yr comment_5836134 Kelly, gotta tell you - My wife and I also walked into my wedding reception to the 2001 tune. Raised chuckles from my 20 or 30 friends that got it, and a look of bemusement from everyone else.
March 18, 20187 yr comment_5836245 What about the first guy to use music when he wins a match ? Was Hogan the first (when he used to pose for the crowd after the match) ?
March 18, 20187 yr Author comment_5836281 Interesting point. I haven't thought about it but it may have been Hogan
March 18, 20187 yr comment_5836322 This was really great man. I feel bad that it is so long between episodes but I understand there is a lot more work put into this then Worldcast.
March 19, 20187 yr Author comment_5836383 Thanks man. This show definitely required a bit more planning than a typical pod. If I had more free time to devote to this series I could pump them out more often. As it is, once every three months is about the most I can promise right now
