June 5, 200619 yr comment_5028376 Oh man, having grown up in the '80s with a mom who listened to predominantly soft rock stations, I could probably fill an iPod with guilty pleasures. A "few" are: - Benny Mardonis: Into the Night - Bryan Adams: Everything I Do - Culture Club: Karma Chameleon - Cyndi Lauper: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper: Time After Time - Alphaville: Forever Young - Lenny Kravitz: It Ain't Over 'Till It's Over - Mariah Carey: Always Be My Baby - Paula Abdul: Cold-Hearted Snake - Chicago: Will You Still Love Me? Damn, I'm gay.
June 5, 200619 yr comment_5028422 I also have "Time after Time" and "Karma Chameleon" in my rotation but "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"? You might wanna check your undies, big guy...there's something missing. I've been known to listen to lots of Queen but I don't care who's listening. Lisa Loeb, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Alanis Morrisette, Paula Cole...Hell, I found myself listening to Taylor Dayne's "Tell It To My Heart" recently and the Gin Blossoms' "'Til I Hear It From You."
June 5, 200619 yr comment_5028651 I listen to a lot of that stuff, too, but like you, don't really care or feel the need to hide it from others. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun may be because of my nostalgic love for the video, which featured Lou f'n Albano. By far my most embarrassing guilty pleasure moment came a few weeks back at the bar when I was able to ID the cover band playing Fiona Apple's Criminal before they were four bars into the song.
