May 9, 20187 yr comment_5848585 You can go back to May of '87 with Jarrett (vs. Bockwinkel). It's amazing how quickly he became good. There was a certain timing and crisp execution that he had early that always surprises me. He also seemed to carry himself with a certain confidence.

I'd actually go back to 1978 for Flair. Jumbo match on 4/27/78 from All Japan. It's possible after viewing the Mid Atlantic film footage with more focus that there will be more going back to 1975 too, but I'm not sure about that.

As a match/angle, there's an argument for the Dibiase 10 minute challenge, and I'm high on the six man with the Young Pistols vs the Freebirds from GAB 91, but "Great" seems a little much maybe?
