Who is the announcer on the 1981 World Class stuff?  He's much better than Mercer & Lowrance ended up being.  Sorry if this has already been covered here.

I remember reading on Wrestlingclassics that Steve Harms did the commentary.

Edit : found a link.

Well now this is a horse of a different color. Not sure if the first clip is out there at all, but the broadway is a stone cold classic.

I'm assuming Flair-Valentine is 8mm ringside footage a la Flair-Rogers from the same venue. It would definitely be "new."

Weird that the rest of that MSG show hasn't turned up since the main event aired on 24/7 years ago, not that it looks like an overly interesting card, but it does have Tatsumi Fujinami and Allen Coage working squashes.

re: Flair vs Valentine.

I have no idea whether we had this or not, but the angle leading up to this series sounds pretty cool.

There's audio on those two pages.

Reference for the second page: The 60 minute draw between the two was 5/25. The promo is 5/28. The Valentine swerve came on 6/8. The match is 7/17.

We also have clips from 7/26, 9/1, 9/24, and 12/20 and tags with Flair & Mosco vs. Valentine & Sheiky baby from 8/17 & 9/6 if anyone needs more Dream Team Implodes in their life.

Wonder if that Norfolk match is from the George Pantas collection that they bought.  This was stuff originally used as bonus footage on one of the Mid-Atlantic documentaries.

The clip from the doc that used the Pantas footage is dated 9/18/80, from the Scope.

Not to say that they used all that footage in the bonus features of the doc, I am sure they didn't.
