Peak Joe. Joe the kingpin of the indies at the time makes his way to Canada. He proceeds to beat the hell out of a young Steen. You can already see Steen has a lot of his traits down. The finish is a bit ant-climatic with run ins, leading to a tag match. Really enjoyed this though. 

I remember making the 3 hour trip with friends to watch that show live. The atmosphere was electric, especially considering some of the other people who worked the card (Colt Cabana, Chris Sabin and B-Boy were also on that card). Pretty fun match as Joe found any way possible to physically brutalize Steen through the whole match until the run-ins from Franky The Mobster & Chakal to turn this into the main event tag match.
