AJ answers by going after the leg of Rusev. The selling by both men is simply fantastic, in particular Rusev put on an absolute clinic in that regard. Absolutely LOVED the moment where he had to keep his leg down while having AJ in the Accolade. One of the best WWE matches of the year. ****1/4
July 16, 20187 yr comment_5857263 This was fun. Rusev's first title shot and he proved he can hang with a big star like AJ. Loved the little storytelling with his leg as a way to protect him too. I hope this isn't the last time Rusev gets a big opportunity, ***3/4.
July 18, 20187 yr comment_5857429 This was definitely a pleasant surprise. They both did a great job putting over their worked over body parts. Russev having adjust the Accolade was a really smart touch from him. I really hope they do a rematch and switch the title. Between how popular he's gotten, and him showing that he can carry his weight in smart matches like this, Russev certainly deserves a chance.
