This is the earliest match where I've seen the amateur wrestling style pin counting replaced with modern pro-wrestling style theatrical pin counting with the referee slamming his palm to the mat for every second. The match itself essentially looks like a proto-WAR match, really intense brawling, violent lock-ups, shoving the other wrestler onto the ropes/corner, you could totally put an Ashura Hara right in with these guys. You get a lot of great Forearms, shoulder bump headbutts and short punches, but my favourite spot was probably the Americana Wristlock, really makes me long for the days when having actual combat knowledge to get into theatrical combat simulation was an expectation and not a bonus.
