This embarrasses me, and I'm not even the one performing it.

As anyone who lives in the South and has ever had someone find out you watch wrestling knows, people around this age still talk about wrestling in these terms to this day, just without the horrible background track.

This reminds me of how my grandpa talked about wrestling, er, rasslin'.

Of course, there were lots of great things about being a fan in this time frame, but GOD.

This is from the 1985 show from the sound of it.

Yeah it's bad, but every sport has this sort of thing. The NFL had that Chicago Bears' song about the same time. And lord knows baseball's had tons of bad theme songs.

You could be arguing with somebody that wrestling is not cheap entertainment for ignorant inbreds and yokels and have the thing won, then somebody would show with a video of this song and you'd lose. Or somebody could point to just about every rasslin' message board on the internet for deadly evidence.

Fritz Von Erich was a strange man.

S-H-I-T-T-Y that's shitty.

I believe that's the same guy who wrote "Heaven Needed A Champion" when David Von Erich died. That song was decent at least. This one was like Wrestlerock Rumble bad.

That's the same guy. It seems cheesy now, but what from the 80s doesn't twenty years later?

However this very well could be where Vince got the "we're not in the rasslin' business" line.

"Kevin Von Erich when he's HIGH AND FLYING"..........OMG Fritz must have nearly had another fake heart attack hearing that.
