September 10, 20187 yr comment_5866049 I have never been high on Rene's commentary. She neither adds nor takes away from the product, so I guess that is better than nothing. With Rene at the booth, WWE will finally be rid of the insulting POC trope that has plagued the three man announce both for a considerable amount of time. I assume the 'new assignment' for Coach was part of his original WWE contract. "Voice of Raw" until outside commitments begin to interfere/bad commentary performance. It looks like both have happened and Coach will probably be on the PPV panel for another 6 months to a year before being gone again. Coach brings nothing to the table as an analysis and honestly works better as a character. I cannot think of one memorable Coach call, but I can think of a lot of good Coach comedy segments. There are a lot of guys in NXT and 205 live that need to get over. Coach should be sent 'down' (over?) there and use what little magic is left in his old top hat.
September 10, 20187 yr comment_5866051 Coach needs to be as far away as possible. His brand of smugness combined with acting like he was still hosting SportsCenter, all while getting clowned by Graves and Cole for being a dipshit was getting very old.
September 10, 20187 yr Author comment_5866052 At least right now on the pre-show panels he can get dunked on by Booker T and it is going to be great. Also he can maybe get back to the backstage interviewer role which is where he had his best moments. A win-win to me.
September 10, 20187 yr comment_5866054 Coach as the roving, on-the-spot interviewer who finds himself out of his element & in uncomfortable situations could be good. He's at his best when he's open to being humiliated. Is he too self-serious for that stuff now? 'Cause if not, it's probably the only thing he's good for at this point.
September 11, 20187 yr Author comment_5866056 Kicking things off with Ziggler's record scratch is ridiculous.
September 11, 20187 yr Author comment_5866061 Nikki countering the Eclipse into the Rack Attack II would be great. Basically she could have a great match with just about anyone in the Women's division today. The fact that she throws the meanest clotheslines and elbow strikes is just the cherry on the cake of greatness.
September 11, 20187 yr comment_5866067 Becky Lynch feud recaps on Raw. She is the Big Dawg of the Fed.
September 11, 20187 yr comment_5866068 What a tremendous, tremendous promo from Foley. He can still bring it out when he's motivated
September 11, 20187 yr comment_5866070 It's been a rather forgettable episode of Raw tonight but I always get a laugh at Braun wandering around backstage, yelling and throwing things. And it was impressive when he nailed some guy with a water bottle pretty far down the hall.
September 11, 20187 yr Author comment_5866072 Lio Rush being Lashley's manager is a genius move. It would rock if they were a tag team, too. Lio rocks and I like Lashley. Power/speed dynamics are usually great. Win-win here, too!
September 11, 20187 yr comment_5866073 I'd be down with a Lio Rush/Lashley paring. Reminds me of when MVP was Lashley's mouth piece at Impact, but they have to be heels cause that's when Lashey is at his best.

It was always so underrated how each of his characters had a completely different promo style.
September 11, 20187 yr comment_5866077 Nikki/Riott was a blast. Finn Balor should be watching Nikki for insight into how to throw those flying clotheslines. These two matched up really, really well.
September 11, 20187 yr comment_5866108 Anyone else catch Cole going into Dad Voice admonishing Renee for popping during the finish of one of the matches? "NO CHEERING!"
September 12, 20187 yr Author comment_5866142 Something oddly fascinating about a broken down Jeff Hardy being the one to get the most out of a broken down Nakamura regularly.
September 12, 20187 yr comment_5866145 Sometimes I get the feeling that Jeff Hardy is the modern day Jake Roberts in the sense that he seems to be really smart when he's not completely fucked up. Nakamura seems to be a guy who's more checked out mentally than broken down physically, so Jeff coming up with something to keep him interested makes sense.
September 12, 20187 yr comment_5866146 Becky Lynch is a really good heel. Unfortunately she is feuding with someone who is being groomed against Rousey so sucks for her as being a champion
September 15, 20187 yr comment_5866573 The new HIAC is red, it seems it won't be easy to see what is going on in the ring. Seems they didn't learn much from the Punjabi Prison match.

How the fuck would you know how it's gonna look before we see how it looks on tv, and what the fuck died it have to do with the Punjabi match?

They uploaded a video on youtube of the cage I named the Punjabi match because it was also hard to watch what was going on in the ring with the hard camera shot, one would guess they wouldn't try to do that again.
