He was a major star 50s-70s. Meltzer gives a brief overview of his career here. October 14, 20186 yr comment_5869187 Very sad to hear, first found out abut him oddly enough from the Giant Gram AJPW games on SEGA Dreamcast and ended up looking him up and was super impressed with his ability and athleticism for his size. Would've loved to see more footage of him as he was such an incredible guy to watch move around and do things in the ring decades before you saw guys his size have a such repertoire of athletic maneuvers. October 14, 20186 yr comment_5869266 Don Leo Jonathan and Andre the Giant had a huge rivalry in Montreal during the 70s. I think Andre had a lot of respect for Jonathan and what he accomplished. Another true great that we lost.
