April 25, 20232 yr comment_6003368 I would not want @NintendoLogic to be on the jury if I was accused of anything.
April 25, 20232 yr comment_6003369 It's only a story because it's Punk. The talent pool for pro wrestlers on that level is pretty small and they all know each other. AEW/NJ talent pops up backstage at WWE shows when they're in the same area, plenty of WWE people have been backstage and doing dinners with AEW talent. The real sus part is that he was visiting "friends".
April 25, 20232 yr comment_6003376 He was apparently hanging out with Miz lol Is he still friends with Kofi?

Yeah you can say he was visiting friends but it felt like poking the hornet's nest with a stick, the fuck you think was gonna happen? That's what makes this thing entertaining to follow, at least to me. When Starks hangs out backstage with Cody it's covered but never treated as a big deal, but with all the fuckery Punk brings and the current situation he's in with AEW, it's bound to create overblown controversy and I'm here for it
April 25, 20232 yr comment_6003381 It is more than likely he has done some kind of work on himself. Either via his wife's need and interest in therapy and/or AEW HR mandating some kind of anger management type training. Obviously there's Wrestling politics motivations PR wise and selling yourself to AEW management, the locker room and the fans you are the reasonable one and capable of self reflection.

Miz, of all fucking people, being one of the few friends Punk has in WWE, and in the industry as a whole, is fucking hilarious. But hey, I guess real recognizes real.

He's come to realize that his remark during the MJF feud was a step too far, and a bold faced lie! Punk realized Max ain't on Miz's level and Mike Mizanin was a better champ than MJF is currently. Of course Miz, being the noble gentleman, accepted Punk's apologies. Wow!

April 28, 20232 yr comment_6003518 Has Starks even had a match on TV since beating Jericho again? Will Adam Cole be the first to not suffer from the clout vampire?
April 28, 20232 yr comment_6003520 He had a non-match with Juice Robinson that was a setup for Jay White's debut. He has a tag match on tonight's Rampage. Seems like he is being set up for White's first victory, which sucks

Not sure, if Jericho did carny his way into a Punk feud, that's still 7 weeks away from happening, at the earliest.
April 28, 20232 yr comment_6003522 At this point I am willing to believe Jericho has had the most screentime out of every single active AEW roster member. He just does not take any weeks off, essentially.
April 28, 20232 yr comment_6003523 No way Punk allows Jericho to make the feud all about Jericho though. He has been around too long, is way too savvy, and for better or for worse, knows how to make things about himself.
April 28, 20232 yr comment_6003525 60k pre-sale registrations for Wembley. There’s an actual chance they could fill the building. Wow.

At least the Codyverse was wacky and unpredictable.
April 30, 20232 yr comment_6003626 If the first few month of Collision are centered around another JAS feud vs the hot star, it's an instant skip for me. Maybe after All In, and if Punk stays healthy, I could check it, considering a really like FTR and Rick Starks will probably go with the Saturday crew.
May 1, 20232 yr comment_6003693 Rumors say there will be another return/debut happening on the first episode of Collision. Return of Thunder Rosa? Mercedes Mone? Trinity Fatu? For some reason I'm leaning towards the women's roster for it.
May 2, 20232 yr comment_6003757 From what I've been gathering, All In's pre sale is gonna take a while (they have more than 1 date for them), and it's gonna be a huge success. Seems the 40k "goal" I and many others had is gonna be reached pretty damn fast.
May 2, 20232 yr comment_6003765 My impression from Reddit is the tickets are moving pretty briskly in the first presale.

Meltz has talked about how its mostly early buyers for AEW, so my gut is 60K is plausible but 70K might be out of reach (unless the early demand activates heavy scalper activity).
May 3, 20232 yr comment_6003828 WCW's highest was around 41k for the Hogan-Goldberg match (that btw got sold beforehead, before the pronouncements cluld take shsape, the careers of Ken Shamrock, alongside both Vince AND Hogan suffered in terms of and most tickets were sold), right?
