Oh please like Dana would give a fuck how he looks at this point. I guess maybe you have another Seth vs Brock match and then who the hell knows what you do with him.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896415 Really good ME. I don't care about either guy so the result doesn't really make a difference to me, but Seth getting a clean win which Reigns has never gotten is ridiculous.

August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896417 When the worst things about Summerslam were no Big Dog and a Double Count Out finish, then we can safely say this was pretty fucking good. Way easier watch than Takeover Toronto.

August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896419 Say what you will about Rollins, but that dude was way over tonight and the match was fantastic. I enjoyed it more than anything from last night. I love these wild Lesnar main events.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896420 Holy crap the Fiend is terrifying. And good to see Bray wrestle like a powerhouse.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896421 This thread actually has fewer replies than the Takeover thread did when that show went off the air. That's pretty astounding.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896422 Well to be fair most of the replies were about how stupid it was that Cole vs Gargano was 45 plus minutes long. So it isn't like it is a good thing it got more replies

Nah Big Show beat Brock once at Survivor Series 2002, Brock won all the other matches. Kurt also beat Brock at Summerslam 2003 but lost at Wrestlemania and the iron match match on Smackdown afterwards. But if you want to be really technical, Kurt has two pinfall wins over Brock actually because he once beat him in Inoki's promotion. So there you go

So that means there was nothing to complain or rave about? (I missed the show.) With Takeover we had the endless main event to bitch over.

August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896427 Yeah the Kofi vs Orton finish was the only thing that was minor thing for me. Well and that three match torture of listening to Corey and Saxton on commentary but that is every show now.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896428 Most of the Takeover thread was complaining about Mauro. That is why the thread was longer.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896429 So I did see a GIF of Goldberg's spear on Ziggler and man oh man. We give him a ton of well deserved shit - his segments are 100% channel changers for me - but he made Bill look like a king. Props.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896432 This 24/7 show about Kofi going to Ghana/his career in WWE is tremendous. I don't know if WWE realizes they produced a show where one of the most popular and longest lasting acts of the last decade or so (the New Day) is talking about how their gimmick sucked when they were doing what Vince wanted, and got successful when they started letting them do what they want.

Wasn't Xavier the one who told this story that he made a bet with Vince? He asked for three months with creative freedom at the start of New Day's tenure as a stable, and if he couldn't get them over in that time, he would be let go. Vince liked the bet and let him do his thing, and well...

So there you go It was a triple-threat match, but Kurt pinned Brock at Vengeance 2003. Show also pinned Brock in a 3-on-1 handicap match with the World's Greatest tag team. But as far as singles matches go, you are correct haha.

Vince was also convinced New Day were going to get over as huge babyfaces with their initial gimmick and was supposedly devastated when they flopped.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896436 It's not that the Takeover thread has an exceptionally high number of replies. It's that the thread for WWE's second-biggest PPV of the year has an exceptionally low number.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896437 I mean, not everyone had time to watch SSlam, which is, well, life, but most of us were actually having a better time with this than with TakeOver. There is something to be celebrated!!
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896438 Brock Lesnar Opponents Tier List, based on how much he gives a fuck: SS Tier: Seth Angle S Tier: Goldberg A Tier: Cena Bryan Finn AJ B Tier: Roman Joe F Tier Strowman Ambrose

Kurt also pinned Brock on the Smackdown before WM19 where Eric Angle dressed as Kurt, and then Kurt snuck in and got the pin. I remember at the time online a lot of folks thought they were doing the switch to Brock on TV because Kurt was too injured to compete in a real WM match. Instead they pulled a great swerve! Big Show also pinned Brock when he teamed with the FBI against Lesnar and Undertaker on Smackdown as well.
August 12, 20196 yr comment_5896440 Good call, I completely forgot about the Mania 19 go-home. And I do recall that other handicap match.
