Hey, will Gable be able (heh) to defeat Corbin?

I've thought about this a bit, and I think it's in their interest to push Corbin really hard between now and the first Smackdown so that he does something detestable enough on that show to get massive, massive heat. That's the show all the execs will be watching and having some amazing reaction (especially if it leads to an upset where he gets his comeuppance) is probably worth as much as anything that they can get out of tonight's match. You can even have him screw a babyface in the first hour then be made to defend his crown against Gable in the second or something and put over Gable then. 

At least Seth doesn't throw pancakes into the crowd on his way to the ring.

Real talk: the KOTR Finals feels like a big deal. Points for WWE for putting this amazing tournament together. If the final delivers, it's a home run.

If Corbin wins, that's all anyone will remember - and not positively. 

I don't mind Corbin (even if I don't think he's better than Rusev), but it would be nice to see a new star made.

Corbin was given far too much in that for a winner. I normally scoff at the words glorfied squash when used, but christ - it was one.

This was a damn good final, I will forever remember the 2019 KOTR for when Baron Corbin put on three of the best performances of his career. 

Still a 9.5/10 tournament. Would be a 10/10 if Gable won, but you can't say they didn't push him hard. 

Thing is that the King character doesn't really fit a straight up babyface like Gable, and Corbin's shit talk is incredible. They have to set up Gable for something, though.

Also, whenever I see Mike Bennett now he's bald in a skit I keep thinking it's Eric Young at first.

I really hope they don't immediately put Corbin back in main events.  King Corbin is a perfectly serviceable upper midcard gimmick.  Hope Gable benefits from this as well

I don't want to be the ghost at the feast, or the pube on the bedsheet. but I think Gable's back to purgatory now. He's an underdog which didn't win and lost decisively. Underdogs need to win when it counts.

With 205 Live being gone soon I just don't see where Gable goes from here, maybe a little stint on NXT?
