TV#100 (This is a weird one. I have 2 copies of this. On one, the interviews at the beginning are decent VQ but the match is ass. ON the other, it is the reverse. Obviously, not a mandatory purchase but something I would like to see if it is an issue with source quality or if I just got bad coies from VHS tapes.)

Well, I have nevr received next day confirmation with priority listed as the postage. Not saying, this isn't some BS ploy but maybe Micah turned over a new leaf

Well, the Watts order came today. I have never seen a fast er turnaround from Watts then this. It was even professionally packaged unlike the time when I was sent a package by media mail in a Rolling Rock box.

Looking through, I completely overlooked House Show #60 which has some potential matchups on there.

 

DVD TV #100 paid off as this is the best looking Flair-Dibiase I have seen.

I also overlooked TV #78.

 

Looks like I'll be putting in another Watts order.

I am getting TV #62 through a trade so I think 78 will be the only missing piece of TV. Now what to do about those missing house shows. Decisions, decisions.

52 and 60 seem like definites, 15 seems like a maybe and 21 and 28 don't seem to have any matches which would make it

Agreed on 21 and 28. Plus, if we buy 21, that is $20 for one match. Seriously.

 

On 60, I agree that should be bought.

 

On 52, I am torn.

 

On 15, I am leaning towards no. i am interested to see if those are Power Pro matches similar to some of the tapes I just converted from the last order. Guys like Stroud, Pat Rose and Dale Veasey usually do not appear on some random Tulsa house show and are usually just TV job guys.

Put me down for a yes on 52 and 60 and the Taylor/Kamala match on 28 is the Ugandan Death Match from New Orleans which I had JIP on Power Pro and seemed like it could be something of substance.

OK, I am going to buy HS 52 for sure. We also need TV 84, not 78.

 

Shoe supplied HS 60 and I traded for TV 62.

 

Look over UWF #3 to see if we should go for that one.

 

I got the 2 hour Brandon Houston and it is an improvement over my 1st gen shows which I am sending to shoe for discussion purposes. You guys should already have it from the 6 hour discs that Brandon made.

 

I still have not heard from Brian Last and Bix has not mentioned anything. I say we move to fill in the blanks through Friedlander's list.

Do we need anything off of the new Mid-South commercial DVD they just released?

Also, I found my Mid South Friedlander list. I had separated it months ago and found it when I moved. I'll start looking at the match listings we have and try to get a rundown of missing shows. After that, we can wait for Jack (unless Baker gets Jack's shows) and see if he has some missing stuff but Friedlander and the couple of Watts shows will be the last purchases I see us making.

From Friedlander's list, it looks like there may be some footage on SF3 and SF4 that I can't trace to the Watts films. I'lll look through the 1986-87 footage later and try to narrow that down.

What stuff?

Well, from 1981 and 1982, Friedlander has some matches listed that I did not see from Watts Mid South TV. When I get home, I'll type out match listings and we'll try to narrow it down. Or when I am at work tomorrow, I'll Copy the Friedlander Mid South list and send it to you Phil and you can help me narrow down what we need to order.

Also, Phil, did you get the package I sent with Friedlander's MS list?

 

If so, I will need your help trying to figure out which shows we need to order, mainly from 1986-87 and some of that pre 1983 stuff as well. Ignore the Power Pros since Dan is supposed to receive those.
