While we may add 10-12 matches post-sale on this set it doesn't hurt the overall set. If we were add 10-12 to the Crockett set, it would bump other stuff off and/or make a monster an even bigger monster. Just something else to consider.
July 13, 200718 yr comment_5419284 Early on in this project I proposed splitting studio shows from arena footage. Not sure if that would help here or not. But if we did seperate set that had Irish Boys Club stuff from Non-Irish Boys club stuff, would that make life easier or harder? I'm kind of concerned as we move toward the Crockett stuff about having policy as to how much of a match should be shown. Can a match be good enough that it's ok when they finish doesn't air ? (We've run out of time). Can a match be good enough that it goes on if joined in progress. Does finish>opening?, etc, etc. Is match in full always>match JIP/without finish? I think some of those problems might be solved if we split/break down these regions by format. Splitting studio matches from arena matches, that way sets are all of stuff that's filmed/edited in same way seems like a way to avoid having to discuss a studio match in full vis-avis an arena match JIP. I imagine it would also mean we could put these things out quicker. I realize that sounds preposterous, but wanted to propose it anyway.

It would be a shame if some of the really strong 5-10 minute matches from TV were kept completely off just because the house show matches are that much better. DiBiase/Orndorff and Murdoch/Roop are both deserving of being on a set like this, but they'd get easily lost in the shuffle next to the really high-end stuff.

I don't think a set has to be 100 matches or 150 matches just to fit into a nice number (unless that is some kind of data thing). If 154 matches deserve to be on, then we vote for 154. If 146 make the cut, so be it.

I think it is just better to have an even number of matches available and matches that will make the final list. It also gives us a good basis to shoot for when we make the DVD's.
