Posted July 12, 200718 yr comment_5419188 All dates are TV air dates. 12/10/81 - Ted DiBiase vs Paul Orndorff I haven't seen the other DiBiase/Orndorff match nominated, but if that match is based around Orndorff's counter of DiBiase's figure four, then this match really needs to be on the set to be the prelude. It's less than 10 minutes, but it's a really great match, and is just incredibly stiff. Both guys have some great knee-based offense, and Orndorff's elbows to get out of the hammerlock are pretty awesome also. Orndorff countering the figure four and DiBiase not having a way out was a nice breath of fresh air after seeing so many ineffective heels on the WWF set. I watched all the other December shows and didn't see anything else worth nominating. There are clips of a DiBiase/Orndorff match from Jackson, MS on 10/15/81. The match looks really great, but it's just highlights.
