November 9, 20195 yr comment_5904131 Here's what I'm worried about: Janela vs Spears, PAC vs Page, Bucks vs Santana and Ortiz, SCU vs Lucha Bros vs Private Party, and Omega vs Moxley are all very very very likely to be super fast paced go-go-go matches crammed full of insane high spots. I'm worried that it will be like watching a three-hour cut of one of those "Moves that made me go Holy $#*! videos on youtube. I don't think I'd enjoy that. I really hope that Jericho and Cody go for an older-school style storytelling match with some build and some dynamics... and maybe Riho and Emi do some mat work and chain wrestling? Maybe Page works more of a classic cowboy brawler style? I really hope that they break up the go-go-go pace at least a little bit and give us some variety.

Cody seems to have developed a solid, storytelling-heavy pseudo-brawling style which is definitely what I think we'll see. Especially considering Jericho finally came to his senses about his physical limitations a year ago.
November 9, 20195 yr comment_5904145 Question about B/R Live, since I am hard of hearing, I was wondering if AEW PPVs would have subtitles? The Countdown video didn't have any, but other stuff on BR Live like the Rich Eisen show does. I am very interested in watching the show tonight but I need assurance there will be subtitles, so if anyone here could shed light on that, would be greatly appreciated.
November 9, 20195 yr comment_5904146 There's a major disconnect between Page's persona and his wrestling style. He's basically Seth Rollins in chaps. Dude needs to study tapes of LA Park or even the Briscoes to learn how to be violent and dangerous while flying all over the place.
November 9, 20195 yr comment_5904170 Despite thinking the TV has been pretty inconsistent, I actually think this has a lot of potential. As mentioned up thread, it might end up going a bit too flip-flop but if they show a bit of restraint & card I'd structured well it could be really good
November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904173 Fuck restraint. Seriously. I hope for two zillions dives, a hundred bumps on the apron, buckets of blood and weapons shots and garbage bumps galore in the lights out match. Gimme workrate on cocaine, an orgy of moves and all around insanity.
November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904177 The pre show has been great so far. Love watching Mox walking around an empty 2300 Arena reminiscing about CZW.
November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904179 Gonna watch the Dentist (did you know she was ?) and off to bed.

I got the cleaner reference, but it's still a guy carrying a broom. Maybe he should wear a pair of those slippers that have dusters on the bottom of them, wrap them in barbed wire, and then he can superkick Moxley in the face. This is such an incredible idea. I've been chuckling at it on and off all day, excellent work. Nice to hear Taz again; he has a genuinely solid rapport with Excalibur that AEW should explore going forward.

November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904187 What ? It was a decent little match. Bea Priestly is good. Baker is way green. I knew it. They look AWESOME.

November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904189 Anybody down in the Jacksonville area? Here for two weeks for work, watching the PPV at a bar/arcade downtown called the rec room. Britt and Bea was kind of sloppy. Brandi and Kong coming down afterwards was cool though.
November 10, 20195 yr Author comment_5904191 Great to see Kong finally hit the ring. Riho/Kong is genuinely intriguing going forward and it's time to see if Kong is a draw post-GLOW.

November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904193 A wrestler who uses medical terminology to describe what they're going to do to their opponents is a pretty great character. It's a shame that Dr. Britt Baker, DMD (who is a dentist) is nowhere near ready in the ring.
November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904194 Young Bucks opening the PPV ? I bet on them doing a job, again, to establish P&P. They are gonna be the Jushin Liger of AEW...
November 10, 20195 yr comment_5904195 Can Taz stay instead of JR ? 1 minute ago, NintendoLogic said: A wrestler who uses medical terminology to describe what they're going to do to their opponents is a pretty great character.
