MEMPHIS- This guy on ebay says he taped Memphis ever since 1986 and has practically every episode of 1987-89. I am working out a deal with him right now to pick up the 80s. Tim Cooke is bidding on his 1990 set right now. Anyway, if I get a good deal, and like the VQ from what Tim sends, I am going to fron t the cash upfront to pick those up. However, when it comes time to do Memphis, I am going to use donations from that set to help get back some of the money for coughing up more cash than I can afford right now. If anyone has a problem with that plan, let me know.

 

AWA- When we get to the AWA, we may want to consider a one-time guest compiler in KHawk. He is the AWA king and would be a valuable resource in not only getting AWA footage but in finding sources for more AWA footage. Also, depending when we do it, it might give me a well-deserved break. He lives in Canada so that may be an issue. If worse comes to worse, I'll collect and purchase footage but he can compile the discs when the nominations have been handed down. Just something to consider.

 

JAPAN- These should be put on the backburner until Dan releases all of his TV sets. For the Classics, I already have the majority of the AJ Classics and have a source (besides Dan) for NJ Classics.

 

EUROPE- Besides Lynch and World of Sport, where else can we find European footage?

 

WORLD CLASS- I converted Dan's World Class collection and also have romdam's 50 disc set. Dan's collection had a huge chunk of Ft. Worth which is collector's gold. I also have Frank's WCCW Digest which had some matches I did not have in pretty good VQ. The main weakness is probably 1987 and beyond.

 

PORTLAND- I converted alost all of Lynch's Portland sets but I don't know of any other worthwhile portland sources. Old School John at DVDVR claimed he had some from as far back as 1984 but he never sent me the tapes he said he was going to. Maybe you guys can PM him and ask him what is going on.

 

FLORIDA- besides Jeff's Florida list, I honestly have no idea who has classic Florida footage.
