January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909828 Man, thinking of Bryan working with Okada or Ospreay makes me hurt inside with disappointment that I can't see it.

January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909830 Man, Bryan getting multiple concussions and ending up a drooling vegetable in Brie's lap after working an unsafe Japanese/indie (AEW) style makes me hurt inside too. Yes, tons of dream matches in that scenario, but this really is what's best for Bryan the man and his long-term health.
January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909831 Becky's held the belt for 10 months and the only title defense I can remember is the Hell in a Cell match with Sasha.

Yeah, no one gets concussions in WWE main events and then is allowed to work another 20 minutes...

WWE isn't perfect, but they're a lot safer than the alternatives. Wolfe being taken out of the match last night is proof that WWE bends over backward usually with stuff like this.

Well, if we're talking about what's best for the wrestlers then none of them should wrestle at all to be honest. You kind of have to be a masochist to get into wrestling.
January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909835 Not many people thought Bryan could actually enhance his GOAT case when he returned, but he has. He has been excellent for basically 2 decades now.

Bryan can get a concussion over pretty much anything depending on how he works a match. Shit, I'm way more worried about him working Sheamus than Ishii.

I haven't had the sense of anyone working with a head injury.

Did any kind of concussion or injury result from that though? No. While I agree that a concussion can happen at any time for any reason, I do think he's safer in WWE, where they'll pull a guy out the minute something is amiss (like Wolfe).
January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909839 the replay really hurt that false "knock out" finish. This has been a really good match that the crowd is either too tired or just not interested in Loved the finish the Becky literally kicking the mist out of her

January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909841 WWE's attempt at inserting storylines and "drama" into matches are always hammy and cringey. This match would have been so better if they had just let them wrestle.
January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909842 I just tuned back in for the other Rumble. The visual on the mist was great.
January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909843 Bryan's definitely safer in WWE. He seems like the kind of guy who would happily turn his brain to mush if it means he could get six stars from Big Dave. Asuka/Lynch had a cool finish, but this show has been going on way too long.

I have read a John Cena interview I think where he said he preferred wrestling in arenas for that reason.
January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909845 That's true. It was either Edge or Christian who said they thought the second TLC match was a dud because they couldn't hear the crowd as they weren't used to the huge arenas. I have no idea what the point of the Street Profits are.
January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909846 So Russev and Lashley have been pulled? Can only imagine the 2 that replace him

January 27, 20205 yr comment_5909850 So I guess it's going to be Brock killing geeks until his Mania opponent comes out.
