April 26, 200520 yr comment_1862641 I really don't get why more people don't watch The Shield, as it blows away any other cop drama on television. Besides the fact that only two or three of us watch it here, it's ratings hover a little lower than 1.5 million viewers. I think FX is just gonna keep chugging along until they have enough episodes for syndication (through the fifth season), which is sad because the writing this season is as good, or better, than it ever was. As far as The X-Files goes, I LOVE seasons 1 - 5 probably more than any other series. Everything following that however went from progressively bad to a hell of a lot worse. It's so bad that I refuse to buy the DVDs past season 7, which I would only pick up to have the end of Mulder's real arc. Even with ER, that show had a few lame seasons in the middle, but they were nowhere near as bad as the end of The X-File's run. ER least had some redeemable factors.
April 27, 200520 yr Author comment_1882627 I forgot to mention The Venture Bros. That show is comedy. I've only seen the Shield a couple of times but I've liked every episode. I just always forget that it's on or watch sports over it.

Great story that keeps on building up with nothing but dark secrets and twists, two tragic heroes trying to undo their forbidden act while maturing and trying to stay alive in the military at the same time, and the most adorable height complex ever. "AAAARGH WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT THAT YOU CAN'T SEE HIM WITH A MICROSCOPE!!??!?" *insert 'I just shot your whole family and humped their corpses' level-of-anger face here* Also, the seven deadly sins own your souls. Gluttony, especially. Others I watch(ed) and like that aren't wrestling-related (not in order) : Venture Brothers Robot Chicken Family Guy Ghost in the Shell : Standalone Complex Trigun Arrested Development Conan O'Brien HiHi Puffy Amiyumi Show .hack//LEGEND (not really sure about name, will check later) Tsubasa : Reservoir Chronicle Azumanga Daioh
