JYD looks kind of shot at this point • Pretty Young Things vs. Buddy Landell & Krusher Krushev Time runs out before this really gets going PYT's rule though

Mid-South TV Title: Terry Taylor © vs. Krusher Khruschev (7/17/84) Doc still has the medal and wants the match against Taylor but says if Taylor wins then he will get the medal. Krusher sucks but Taylor looks good here and juices after a sorry looking post shot by Doc. Taylor would win after Doc accidentally hit Krusher and after the match Doc nailed Taylor with the medal and walked out. Hacksaw Duggan & Junkyard Dog vs. Bob Owens & Hans Schroeder (7/17/84) Squash. The Pretty Young Things (Norvell Austin & Koko Ware) vs. Randy Barber & Pat Rose (7/17/84) Squash. This TV show debuts the classic Mid-South opening that we all know and love. Watts is at ringside with Terry Taylor and he gives him back his medal. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Rick McCord (7/31/84) Squash. No DQ for the Mid-South Tag Titles: The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) © vs. Hacksaw Duggan & Junkyard Dog (7/31/84) Duggan really looks good early dominating the MX with them bumping all over the place. JYD comes in and looks like he is working half speed compared to the rest. It would eventually break down into a 4-way brawl with JYD nearly killing Eaton with a clothesline and Cornette throwing powder in his eyes. Duggan would try to finish off Eaton but Pee Wee Anderson has fallen to the floor so Cornette comes in to try to get Duggan off Eaton. Duggan starts choking Cornette until Herc shows up with Duggan's coal miners glove which he bought off of Khruschev and KO's him. Eaton covers for the win. This was really good stuff but just short of a nomination.
