December 7, 2024Dec 7 comment_6026377 She blasted Trump after the abortion right ban and has denounced anti-trans legislations, so at least she's not one of those people. Maybe WWE should just have hired Kamille and put her in there. Or just throw in Nia Jaxx, the legend that she is. That would have been more on point.
December 9, 2024Dec 9 comment_6026422 Ain't Bully Ray the one that took a fan backstage at an ROH show to try to intimate him for booing/heckling at a show too? Dude is soft as fuckin' Charmin.
December 18, 2024Dec 18 comment_6026556 So, the head of WWE production is an interesting guy, for sure... https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6000968/2024/12/18/lee-fitting-espn-college-gameday-allegations/ Yeah, sure, WWE's culture has totally changed.

Came in here to post this. The new WWE is the same as the old WWE.
December 18, 2024Dec 18 comment_6026566 I read the recap of the allegations from The Athletic article. Some pretty rough stuff in there, definitely inappropriate workplace behaviour. They clearly don’t do workplace sexual harassment sensitivity training at ESPN. Nothing as bad as the Vince allegations, but that’s not really saying much because nothing is as bad as the Vince allegations. I liked how one of the women combated Fitting’s behaviour by openly taking notes when he was being inappropriate, and when he asked her what she was doing, she responded by saying it was all going in her book. I couldn’t help but shake my head at one of the allegations though. There is all this horrible sexual harassment and objectification of women in the article, and then it ends off with: “Another woman was told not to laugh on the air, because her laugh was annoying.” Really? All this horrible shit is in there, and that makes the list?

December 20, 2024Dec 20 comment_6026581 I get the feeling they'll try to run Logan/Rock (though at least that keeps both of them away from the World title).
December 20, 2024Dec 20 comment_6026584 What a nightmare timeline we're in where Logan Paul vs The Rock could be a thing
December 24, 2024Dec 24 comment_6026636 Logan Paul moaned years ago about The Rock ghosting him after the suicide forest shit.
January 2Jan 2 comment_6026795 Jake Atlas was allegedly told his sexuality doesn't matter by Triple H (Atlas is gay). While I'm not inclined to necessarily take the word of Atlas, who is a domestic abuser now playing the victim, Triple H does have a history of saying monumentally stupid shit - (paraphrasing) "I didn't read the lawsuit," "We don't see race," etc.
January 4Jan 4 comment_6026832 PWinsider & Fightful both report that Royal Rumble 2026 will be in Saudi Arabia next year
January 4Jan 4 comment_6026841 Let's fucking gooooooo !!!! Here we are finally ! Maybe they should do it in some shitty NEOM site too. (the amount of delusion of WWE fans thinking they are not currently still living in Vince's dream... He made the Saudi deals, he made Saudi "their home", he recruited Cody personally and promised him the WWE title at Mania, the upswing of the company began while he was still at the helm. It's crazy that last year's Mania tried to whitewash the entire thing while having Nick Khan and Bruce Prichard show up in the ring at the end. They are running Cody vs Cena at Mania this year. This is STILL Vince's product and vision out there, 100%. Minor details in booking and in-ring style don't change the overall picture of what this company still is)
January 6Jan 6 comment_6026912 https://x.com/SeanRossSapp/status/1876273485556994258 Fitting that they would announce this partnership on January 6th. Oh, and it looks like the 2026 Rumble will be in Saudi Arabia. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
January 6Jan 6 comment_6026913 yeah the Rumble in Saudi and Hogan is back. Has anything really changed?
January 6Jan 6 comment_6026914 TKO is a full on Trump supporting act. So is WWE. They just are more hypocritical about it than UFC is. WWE has hired a "problematic" head of production *after* the Vince lawsuit was out. WWE is still dealing with Logan Paul, who is a legit crypto-scammer. WWE is partnering with Hulk "everybody is a bit racist/watcha gonna do when Trumpmania runs wild on you" Hogan and is bringing him to to Netflix debut. After years of "non-canon" bloodmoney shows that have been completely internalized as "normal business" by its fanbase, they now bring one of the big 4 (and really, one of the big 2) as a whitewashing act for MBS (ya know, the guy who ordered a journalist to be murdered then dismembered with a saw, hell, there's a Netflix documentary about it). So no, nothing has changed. Oh yeah, booking is better, let Papa Trip cook or something. Tune in for John "even Randy freaking Orton was not as offensive when talking about Vince" Cena's road to WrestleMania.
January 6Jan 6 comment_6026915 I still wonder what the live audience will think of him when he comes out. I could easily see him booed out of the building. I thought that the last few times his name was mentioned he got massively booed? And that was BEFORE MAGAmania…..
January 6Jan 6 comment_6026917 I mean, they also chanted "Thank you Vince" not that long ago (this is still undersold how this was incredibly awful and slimy)... The audience is younger now and may be closer minded to the UFC crowd. The reaction he gets will say a lot about where they stand for sure. Honestly I'm very surprised they haven't brought Flair back already. The Whatever Energy sponsorship with AEW thankfully petered out quickly and hopefully he never shows up there again, but why in the hell WWE would not bring him back now or in the near future, no idea. Hell, I would not even be shocked to see Lesnar show up at the Rumble, at this rate.
January 6Jan 6 comment_6026920 I wonder what Jesse Ventura thinks of this, I mean, sure, the reason he signed a legends deal is because Vince isnt there anymore, but he's no friend of Hogan either,,

My guess is that they will go to great lengths to keep Hogan as far away from Ventura as possible. Hogan has always seemed to be one of those guys that is willing to bury the hatchet with pretty much anybody that he has heat with, but Ventura seems equally like the kind of guy that will hold a grudge even after the guy is dead. (See: Chris Kyle) I am guessing Hogan just won’t get invited to any Saturday Night Main Event shows if Jesse is working them.
January 6Jan 6 comment_6026929 Yeah, the last time Hogan came back there were multiple stories about how the locker room wasn't really wild about it and the crowd reaction was tepid at best since at least half the crowd seemed uncomfortable cheering a guy exposed as a racist shitbag. 31 minutes ago, The Thread Killer said: I am guessing Hogan just won’t get invited to any Saturday Night Main Event shows if Jesse is working them. They pretty much have to, for multiple reasons. If they try to rug-pull his deal they know he's not afraid to sue them over it, and if they try to force it to happen Jesse is absolutely the guy who will cut a promo on Hogan and bury the shit out of him.

As if Hogan is in the top dozen? 20? reasons to raise an eye at this company.
January 7Jan 7 comment_6026959 The question remains. If Mania was the beginning of the new era, as showed by appearances of Stephanie McMahon, MAGATaker and the Rock, does that mean that this new era is actually over already, as WWE has now entered into yet another new era, as showed by appearances of the Rock, MAGATaker and Hulk Hogan ? Lots of new eras in a very short span...

It wasn’t better, it was just MORE!
January 7Jan 7 comment_6026963 Nah, Triple H, the guy who doesn't want to be in the spotlight yet puts the spotlight on himself every time there's something to brag about, announced it was a new era. So it has to be a brand new era. They really should have made it a special episode though and call it, I dunno, Capitol Carnage or something.
