Last thing Kairi needs is to be hitting her head more. That poor girl is going to have some serious issues if she gets more concussions. She's already a tiny thing that takes hellacious bumps. I don't want to see another situation like what happened at TLC.

Count me in as someone who believes this "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" is a trolling swerve. And, personally, I like the idea.

I know Edge and Orton have a ton of accolades and all that, but neither one has ever had their wrestling been their strongest selling point. Edge has been the Ultimate Opportunist, he's been a guy willing to go to extremes, he's even been something of a tag specialist, but he's never been pushed as this particularly great wrestler like, say, Kurt Angle or Benoit. Orton gets a bit closer there as the company has certainly played up his natural abilities and expert timing, but they've always done that to support the idea that he's a calculated, cold killer, a Viper who strikes without trepidation.

I'm expecting that we see something dastardly out of Orton that ends the "match" in under 5 minutes. Of course, they've already had Orton do just about everything in the playbook to Edge so I'm not sure what that will be. Another Con-Chair-To wouldn't seem like a big enough deal. Maybe a "Pillmanizing" with the chair around Edge's neck? Wasn't that what Orton teased when he first snapped on Edge at the RAW building to Mania? I'm not sure how you gimmick that without Edge being put in danger of being paralyzed but that's a different discussion.

The point is, when they pull the bait-and-switch, I'm not going to be crying "false advertising."

Or I could be wrong and they're going to give Edge and Orton 30+ minutes in a straight-up wrestling match and it is no way going to be greatest wrestling match ever, or probably great at all. They really should lower the bar and call it "The Most 'We Hope Its Good' Match Ever."

Booking an entire PPV around a bait and switch isn't going to get heat on Randy Orton. It's just going to confirm to fans why they should never put any trust in WWE to deliver on anything. That said, it would be funny if they do it.

Are there fans who still trust them to deliver?

I think the only way you could get away with it is by booking an actual MOTYC as the preceding match so the audience doesn't feel let down by watching the show. Not sure what that match would be (some combination of Bryan/Gulak/Cesaro/Nakamura maybe?), but i think the troll move would work in that context.

There are still a few psychopaths online who think Bray Wyatt is an artistic genius so God only knows. That's why I hope they do it to see if there's any ridiculous outrage online!

Considering their match at Mania was pretty much universally panned, isn't this supposed to be some kind of elaborate joke ?... probably not.

Edge had a bit of a hissy fit online after people buried his shitty match so this branding is either a rib on him or a rib on the audience. Or both.

Bray Wyatt is to WWE what Rob Zombie is to Hollywood.

Are his movies any good? Nope. But he still has his fans that pretend he's some sort of directing genius the likes of Stanley Kubrick.

Bray Wyatt puts on a clown mask & wrestles in pants that don't fit & suddenly some people are like "OMG, he's so original!"

Decided to watch my first episode in about two years as the idea of Riddle and Thatcher in the cage is too good to not watch.

The cruiserweight opener was a fun spotfest that didn't outwear it's welcome. Maverick in addition to being an all-round great guy, is a great seller and actor too. Is his firing a complete work? Either way, it seems a tad distasteful.

That whole Gargano segment was painful. His character is like the heel Seth Rollins character from 2015 yet somehow even more melodramatic. I didn't like the Keith Lee/Mia Yim video either. The 'audience' laughing along with it made it feel even more hokey than it was.

Blackheart/Gonzalez was fun for what it was. Blackheart has an interesting look that I think will get over and that bump she took to the outside was nasty. Gonzalez worked well as a bigger heel, much better than someone like Nia Jax. Coming from someone who's not familiar from the product, I thought the interference was confusing and detracted from the match.

Chelsea Green was a letdown as a mystery partner, but Charlotte looks like a big deal when she's down in NXT. Looking forward to the triple threat match at Takeover.

Riddle/Thatcher felt different and there was some good stuff here, but it was hindered by too many WWEisms. The whole thing with Thatcher gushing out the fake blood felt over the top and it didn't go anywhere. The cage dive was cool, but it didn't fit in with the shoot style lite presentation they were going for.
