Great, great match, with a just awesome heel performance by the Guerreros and Buddy, plus great Bill Dundee. Lothario is old and kind of useless, but he was fine as really over veteran. Long match where the Guerrerros get to break out a ton of classic house show heel shtick, Dundee has a ton of great house show face shtick too. Put a huge smile on my face when I watched it

A little more Lothario than i would like to see but his discus punch on Buddy looked pretty cool. Still, everyone else was good enough to neutralize him. Not one of my favorites but I enjoyed watching it. I think I will rate the RNR/Lothario 6-man higher but this was good enough to go to the next round.

 

Also, Phil, which disc did you see this on? I only have this on Dan's PPW TV 11/84 and a VQ upgrade would be nice.

OK, i don't know what VQ that was in so I'll stick to the Dan disc.

Supersock throws some great punches early in this on all the heels and I must say that a Guerrero/Landell stable would've been awesome as they were great here as a heel six-man. Dundee had some great backdrops here on everyone getting some great air then Brick came in throwing some great armdrags on everyone as the heels were bumping and selling their asses off. The spot where Chavo takes numerous elbow drops from his partners by mistake was fantastic. The match was an all-action match with good comedy spots and a great Houston crowd that was really hot. This is a easy nomination.
