Posted July 27, 200718 yr comment_5419890 Rock ‘n’ Roll Express vs. Midnite Express Bobby Eaton was off the chain here, big bumps, great bodyshots. This was R+R's by the numbers though, I liked this alot but it was clearly below R+R's v. Jake/Barbarian, I think we need to see how the rest of these match ups shake out. Clearly some of the R+R's v. MX's matches belong, but all of them don't.

September 27, 200718 yr comment_5422284 Mid-South Tag Titles: The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) © vs. The Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton) (1/21/85) This is also JIP from New Orleans. This was a perfect example of their match as Morton took a great beating from the MX who were vicious at this time as going to World Class gave them even more of an edge. Morton gets the hot tag on Gibson and the place goes crazy but a double collision by Gibson/Eaton knocks Pee Wee Anderson to the floor. Condrey then suplexes Morton but Gibson climbs back and hits a diving body press from the second rope for the win. This one goes on the block.
October 7, 200717 yr comment_5422620 I have this complete from Will's awesome RNRoll comp. This was just their normal excellent match between the 2 teams. The early MX stoogeing lead to just an awesome over the top rope to the guardrail bump from Eaton off a RnRoll Dbl drop kick. cornette was just an obnoxious prick at ringside. Morton took just an inhumane beating as the FIP from the MX. Morton's facials were off the charts. The heat that condrey got for just stepping on Morton's ankle while in Eaton's chinlock was just wow. I thought the finish was pretty neat. I agree with Krisz and that should find its way onto a disk.
November 8, 200717 yr comment_5423650 I merged Phil and Kris's thread. This may be a lesser match than the Jake/barbabrian match that i still need to see but it was still an awesome match well deserving of a spot. Ricky Morton took his licks, the MX were taking things up a notch and this is clearly a top-tier tag match. I vote yes.
