Worth watching for that, Tim Horton may actually be the hockey player who started the donut chain, because he doesn't look like he was a trained wrestler Produced:8-16-84 • Fantastics vs. Dennis Condrey & Kruscher Khruschev This was pretty fun, but it isn't the Fans v. MX match that makes a tape • Brickhouse Brown vs. Buddy Landell This is a fun angle, but nothing that needs to be seen
December 12, 200717 yr comment_5425153 They have a workout in the ring with Magnum, Rogers, & Taylor until Landell & Reed show up wanting to join in. Landell & Magnum do some amateur stuff before it would break down and the heels left. Junkyard Dog vs. Krusher Khruschev (7/31/84) This is JYD's last call on Mid-South TV as he would debut for the WWF 11 days later. JYD hits the big Thump and leaves the victor. "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell & "Hacksaw" Butch Reed vs. The Pretty Young Things (Norvell Austin & Koko Ware) (7/31/84) Koko looked great early using his speed and smarts to get the advantage over the heels who were great at stooging around. Norvell comes in and looks fine early but Landell would nail him with an elbow smash and the heels took control from there. Koko would get the tag but Carl Fergie never saw it so Norvell ate more punishment then the corkscrew elbow from Landell for the pin. PYT's get squashed on the way out. Mike Jackson vs. Tim Horton (7/31/84) Jackson gets a spotlight win then Reed comes out and they have an impromptu match. Jackson gets some offense but Reed would finish him off with a press slam. Bill Watts talks about JYD leaving Mid-South and how Landell & Reed ran him off. Doc debuts the Dr. Death Award. "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Mike Jackson (8/14/84) Jackson gets some offense in but Doc would finish him with the Stampede. Handicap Match: Hacksaw Duggan vs. Randy Barber & Don Sanders (8/14/84) Squash. Hercules Hernandez vs. Josh Stroud (8/14/84) Squash but a fun brawl after the match with the MX, Duggan, Sonny King, & Terry Taylor running in and Eaton getting injured. Terry Taylor vs. Art Crews (8/14/84) Squash. The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. "Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & Krusher Khruschev (8/14/84) Krusher takes Eaton's spot here. Good match but Krusher definitely isn't Eaton. Brickhouse Brown vs. "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell (8/14/84) Landell brags about running JYD off then starts flapping his mouth at Brickhouse and gets upset not once but twice. This scenario should be an extra. Watts introduces the debut video for Adrian Street.
