Another fine example of needlessly confusing WWE verbiage: they kept saying SummerSlam is "one week from Sunday", which is technically correct but since they never said the actual date of the show it makes it sound like it's next week when it's actually 13 days from Monday (IE: almost two weeks, on 8/23).

Why would the be so intentionally obtuse about the date of a major show on the company's schedule? It would be bad enough to do for a throwaway B show, but this is goddamn SummerSlam they are playing word games with to confuse the audience. It was a clear directive too, since they seemed to be purposefully not saying the actual date of the show.

They wouldn't want someone at a local medical facility or someone who works in a boneyard to get confused.
