Rick Steiner & Sting vs. Iceman King Parsons & Chavo Guerrero

I really liked this, it wasn't particularly long, but just a trememdous sprint, Stiener and Sting almost reminded me of the Eliminators at this point. Green and a little sloppy, but busting out crazy high impact moves. Chavo was right there moving with them, flipping all over the ring, hitting Sano kicks going nuts.

Roberts vs. Savoldi (Taylor run in)

This isn't a disc match, but damn is Buddy Roberts fucking great. Savoldi is basically a guy with a nice dropkick and not much else but this match is pretty damn great.

Buddy Landell vs. Savannah Jack (leads to Devastation Inc. vs. “faces” brawl)

Not a match, but this a fun brawl

The Fantastics vs. John Tatum & Jack Victory

This is the match where Tatum and Victory win the belts, and is the best match of this series, they lay a big beating on both guys and the comebacks are really great. Disc worthy for sure.

Buddy Roberts vs. Terry Taylor

Short but energetic and I always love the rubbing the face into the mat.

Buddy Roberts vs. Savannah Jack (Taylor-Hayes brawl)

This is another example of Roberts carrying a super limited guy to a good match.

Tatum & Victory vs. Irwin & Bad Leroy Brown

Fun heel v. heel brawl, but basically a sqaush by Brown and Irwin

Chavo Guerrero vs. Buddy Landell

This was as good as you would expect a TV match between these two to be. Chavo is such a pleasure to watch, and he really breaks out some big highspots, with a moonsault and pescado. Budro is on defense alot, but is a great bumper so it doesn't matter. The Jack Victory inteference finish seemed kind of out of nowhere.

Chavo Guerrero & Iceman King Parsons vs. Rick Steiner & Sting (10/26/86)

Chavo throws some great kicks early here. Steiner & Sting do have some great power offense for sure at this time and they were growing as a team. I liked the finish even though it was a DQ with Chavo having Steiner in an O’Connor Roll and Sting clotheslining him on the back of the head off the top rope. This was very fun but not a nomination.

Holy shit the Freebirds coming into the building in a limo to Robert Palmer’s “I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On” is fantastic. They unveil their big surprise which is the debut of Sunshine as their valet. Roberts in his tuxedo is fantastic. This is a must extra.

Angel of Death vs. Gary Young (10/26/86)

Angel makes his debut and this is a squash. Hayes gushes on commentary.

UWF TV Title: Buddy Roberts © vs. “Jumpin” Joe Savoldi (10/26/86)

Savoldi gives a good showing of himself. Taylor comes to the ring to watch the match and Roberts is so mad that he throws Savoldi over the top rope for a DQ. Roberts calls Taylor into the ring and Taylor nails him with the five-arm then counts his own pin.

“Nature Boy” Buddy Landell vs. Savannah Jack (10/26/86)

Devastation Inc. is in the ring in full so Jack goes to get him some friends in Duggan, Chavo, Iceman, & Adams and IT’S BREAKING DOWN IN TULSA. This was a fantastic brawl.

UWF Tag Titles: The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) © vs. John Tatum & Jack Victory (10/26/86)

Since their last meeting didn’t have the conclusive finish that Tatum & Victory wanted they get one last shot at the Fants. This was the shining moment for Tatum & Victory as they worked their ass off and beat the piss out of both Fants. Fants looked great here too and this was a great end to their series. Definite nomination.

UWF TV Title: Buddy Roberts © vs. Terry Taylor (10/26/86)

This is a short wild brawl that’s a lot of fun. Taylor murders Roberts with a Yakuza Kick that would make Chono proud. Sunshine would hand Buddy the black glove that DiBiase uses and he KO’s Taylor then rubs his face in the mat to mush up his good looks.

We have a wild brawl with the Freebirds against Doc/DiBiase/Taylor with Doc dropping a knee across Gordy’s arm that would break it causing the things that would happen later in the show. Definite extra.

Rick Steiner & Sting vs. The Missing Link & “Jumpin” Joe Savoldi (11/9/86)

DJ & Hyatt chase each other around the ring so they get kicked out of ringside. Sting & Steiner look great here especially Sting who just nukes Savoldi with a clothesline. Link did his thing with the crowd going nuts and he would bring Gilbert in the ring for the DQ. Steiner would give Link the belly-to-belly a couple of times so they can paint Link yellow.

UWF Heavyweight Title: Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy © vs. One Man Gang (11/9/86)

Gordy wants to fight but Hayes demands that he can’t wrestle so Tommy Gilbert awards the Gang the title saying that Gordy has forfeited the title.

UWF TV Title: Buddy Roberts © vs. Savannah Jack (11/9/86)

Hayes & Taylor are at ringside for this and Buddy does a great job with Jack who was very green. Hayes & Taylor would start brawling on the floor as Jack hits the Superkick on Roberts and wins the title.

UWF Tag Titles: John Tatum & Jack Victory © vs. “Bad Bad” Leroy Brown & Wild Bill Irwin (11/9/86)

Tatum & Victory couldn’t survive a week of TV as the champs as they lose them here in a fun one-sided brawl. Irwin threw some great kicks here.

“Nature Boy” Buddy Landell vs. Chavo Guerrero (11/9/86)

The Big Cat Ernie Ladd makes his return on TV as he helps call this match. Landell is great here doing his schtick. There was some solid action here with Chavo looking great not only with his aerial spots but on the mat too and Buddy bumps around the ring like crazy. Jack Victory shows up right before Chavo hits a big pescado on Landell on the floor. Landell would backdrop Chavo on Tommy Gilbert but Chavo would hit his moonsault on Landell then Victory would nail Chavo with Landell covering for the win. I love these two guys but it is just a step below a nomination.

Steel Cage Match: Hacksaw Duggan vs. One Man Gang (11/9/86)

Gordy & Hayes show up before the match with Hayes trying to get Gordy to leave ringside. Duggan shows up and starts brawling with Hayes as Akbar slammed the cage door on Gordy’s arm. Brown & Irwin would then attack Duggan bashing his head in the cage then shoving him in the ring. Duggan is juicing and Gang starts to work on him with Brown & Irwin carrying Tommy Gilbert away. Gang just destroys Duggan as TV time runs out.
