Posted August 8, 200718 yr comment_5420299 House Show Volume 014 Produced: Unknown Kerry Von Erich vs. Ernie Ladd Ernie isn't a guy who is going to carry a singles match at this point, this was on the bad side of decent. Rock ‘n’ Roll Express vs. Midnite Express (Scaffold Match) This was completely awesome, best Scaffold match I have ever seen. All four guys are really great at almost falling spots, and they manage to do a ton of stuff while balancing on a scaffold. Both scaffold bumps were solid, and the whole thing was a great mix of danger and good wrestling Rock ‘n’ Roll Express vs. Midnite Express (Straight Jacket Match) We aren't going to put every R+R's v. MX match on the set, and this is one that can be left out. Not a particularly good finish, and some sloppiness. I am finding myself preferring Rock and Roll's vs. other folks more then Rock and Rolls v. MX

MX Jim Cornette is in straightjacket and in a cherry picker high above ring. Watching this match really felt like it was missing Cornette.
December 4, 200717 yr comment_5424780 “The Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. “Big Cat” Ernie Ladd (12/2/84) DiBiase is with Ladd at ringside and too bad he isn’t working Kerry because this wasn’t good. Scaffold Match for the Mid-South Tag Titles: The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) © vs. The Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton) (12/2/84) This is from the Fairgrounds in OKC and this is a fantastic match for being on a scaffold. You could really tell they were playing with fire on some moves and there was even blood. The bumps off the scaffold were pretty great and the fans were loving all of this. Definite nomination. Straight Jacket Match for the Mid-South Tag Titles: The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) © vs. The Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton) (11/4/84) Cornette being put in the jacket then a cherry picker is hilarious. This was a very good basic formula match but Cornette not being around the ring does sorta hurt it and there is a shitty finish. In other sets this would definitely move on but in this set it falls short.
