Posted August 10, 200718 yr comment_5420374 Produced: 4-14 to 4-16-1985 The Fantastics vs. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams & Jake “The Snake” Roberts (4-14-85) (18:41) This was pretty great, really sort of a Bobby Fulton show weirdly enough, as he takes some big backdrops, and takes a nice beating. Jake is really great as a heel per usual, and Williams is amusing as he bumps all over the ring for the tiny Fantastics. Also were the Fantastics trying to get WWF jobs they are roided as shit. Steve Casey vs. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams It was fun to watch Dr. Death stooge, but too short to be much Terry Taylor vs. Kamala This was a pretty fun brawl, with both guys throwing each other into chairs, and pounding toe to toe. Finish was slightly unsatisfying, with Duggan running in, but this was wild enough to make a DVD Brickhouse Brown vs. “DR. Death” Steve Williams (8:52) Nothing much to write home about, I have no idea why Brown went over here. Dutch Mantell vs. Tim Horner (9:39) Very basic undercard match, Dutch only threw one suplex.

Holy shit they were juiced to the gills. Tommy Rogers was more juiced than Steve Williams. Steve Casey vs. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams It was fun to watch Dr. Death stooge, but too short to be much I don't know if this was actually short. Mostly Steve Casey whipping out your British offense while Dr Death played total bumbling stooge. Steve Casey hits Death with a nasty European uppercut and looks like Death just said "fuck that", hit a receipt spot and took it home. For stalling stoogeing heel vs. Brit...Killer Khan v. Adams is alot better. I bet if we actuall put this on a set the voters wouldn't agree with me in that assesment. But we aren't putting this on a set. Terry Taylor vs. Kamala This was a pretty fun brawl, with both guys throwing each other into chairs, and pounding toe to toe. Finish was slightly unsatisfying, with Duggan running in, but this was wild enough to make a DVD Outside run in finish is shitty finish and well this is a fed with lots of great great finishes. But great brawl and deserving of being on the set. Brickhouse Brown vs. “DR. Death” Steve Williams (8:52) Nothing much to write home about, I have no idea why Brown went over here. More Williams as stooge with Brickhouse doing I think a gutwrench on Williams. Why is Brickhouse suplexing Williams? Dutch Mantell vs. Tim Horner (9:39) Very basic undercard match, Dutch only threw one suplex. Really surprisingly back and forth for pushed Dutch vs lower card Horner. Worked really even. I had sense that the two have a better match in them. Was this part of series?
December 3, 200717 yr comment_5424749 Jake “The Snake” Roberts & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) (4/14/85) It’s safe to say that OKC is Fantastics Country as the women are throwing themselves at them as they walk around the ring. Jake was so fucking great here as the cocksucker heel basically daring the Fants to attempt to punch him in the face after bodyslamming them. Fulton’s sell of the bodyslam alone is fantastic acting like he just got ran over by a car. Doc was great here as the stooging heel bumping and selling like a madman for the Fants. Fants looked great on offense and when it was time for Fulton to get his ass kicked he took a helluva beating. Fulton trying to get the hot tag was a great fight as Doc & Jake did their damndest to stop that especially Jake who hung on to Fulton’s tights and did an amateur takedown before tagging to Doc. Fulton hit a high kneelift worthy of Jake on Jake to begin the hot tag process and after Jake accidentally ran into Doc, Fulton made the tag. Rogers came in blazing hitting dropkicks on both men before turning into a 4-way brawl. Rogers had the O’Connor Roll on Doc but Jake came around and laid him out with the DDT to win the match. This was a fantastic fast paced match and a definite nomination. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Steve Casey (4/15/85) Okay match nothing special. Ugandan Death Match for the North American Heavyweight Title: Terry Taylor © vs. Kamala (4/16/85) This is from New Orleans and it’s a wild brawl with Kamala being mad as hell at Taylor because he piledrove Friday on the floor putting him out of action. Kamala throws some bombs here but Taylor hangs with him in his own way and they throw each other around the ringside area with Taylor acting like as much of a maniac as Kamala. Kamala would really start pounding on Taylor but he would make a comeback hitting the five-arm but Kamala would fight back although he would miss a splash. Taylor would jump on Kamala’s back for a sleeper then Akbar would come in the ring to hit Taylor with the riding crop as Carl Fergie has been taken out. Kamala would climb up top but Duggan would hit him in the back with the 2x4 then hit Akbar clearing the ring. Kamala and Akbar would then turn tail and leave as the fans go nuts which means the finish worked then. This was fun stuff and should move forward. Brickhouse Brown vs. “Dr. Death” Steve Williams (4/16/85) Brick is getting a big push in his return as he has beaten Hercules Hernandez on TV now gets Doc. This was a very competitive back and forth match that also had Dutch Mantell watching from ringside. The finish was really bad as Brick would hit Doc with a forearm from the apron with Doc falling back getting his leg caught in the ropes then Brick hit a diving splash over the apron while Doc’s leg was in the ropes for a pinfall. “Dirty” Dutch Mantell vs. Tim Horner (4/16/85) Okay little match.
