Posted August 11, 200718 yr comment_5420389 This is a year in review show and all matches were JIP but it had some things that wasn’t on DVD for some reason like the Kamala/Wrestling II angle that led to Olympia taking his place in the match with Stagger Lee against Borne & DiBiase for the Mid-South Tag Titles that caused Olympia to leave town. We might need to find the complete version of this match

December 17, 200717 yr comment_5425479 So watched this. Everything is clipped up. Houston Andre, JYD, Mil v Dibiase, Khan, Gino match with neat finish but not much shown. Clip of Gino getting win over Mil. They show highlights of the October 27, 82 Bourne. Dibiase v JYD, Olympia match. but I think this is the first time where I've seen the set up for it as they show about a minute of Watts introducing his new partner Pal boesch to the Louisiana audience, then interviewing kids from a Texas 4H who were brought into the studio by the Gorilla who wa in the gorilla show at the state fair. Also Watts explains why Bourne is in match and how Duggan might be in jail. The match itself is currently on the DVD set, it really feels like we should slip this extra minute on with the match. Clipped end of Tully v II from Houston. This reminded me that I know somewhere in one of my boxes of tapes I have a arena II v Gino match which was the first time I had ever seen II throw a suplex. I wonder if that was from Houston. Don't need the Watts commentary on how the gorilla even fooled Tony Atlas but amusing. Highlights of November 82 Duggan v Atlas feud. duggan spears Atlas but blades on Atlas's hard head. Highlights of Houston 2/3 falls six man with Chavo, atlas, Stagga Lee v Rat Pack. ino runs in in first fall and chair shots Chavo eliminating him from match. II is brought in as replacement in second fall. Lots of II dancing. Of your seventies babyfaces who dance, II may not have the moves of a Dusty or Bullet Bob but he really is almost Belushi- esque in his non rhythmic white guy completely caught up in the joy and power of dance. Not a good dancer but the joy he gets from dancing is infectious. I wish we had this in complete.
