Posted August 12, 200718 yr comment_5420454 This was pretty entertaining. They begin with a nice little brawl before the bell rings to get the hatred over. Both members of the Midnight Express were just awesome in making Wrestling 2 look like a million bucks. Eaton takes just an awesome bump off Wrestling 2's Knee Lift. A litlle later Dennis takes a bump off the knee lift and does an incredible sell job of it. A little later Eaton takes a Pillman off the guard rail. We are getting some grade A level stoogeing by the MX. I thought Eaton took a tremendous bump off the 1st knee lift, well he out did himself on the 2nd one. Eaton takes one of the highest back drops I had ever seen. Eventually, the MX get the advatage off of Dennis's thrust to TA's throat behind refs backhe MX were stoogeing for about 10 minutes. Eaton follows up with a nasty 2nd rope knee drop to TA's throat. Now both members of the MX are controlling TA with a hammerlock working around quick tags. The work here wasn't all that exciteing, but it didn't need to because the crowd was rallying behind TA fighting underneath. Their was a great near tag that Eaton cut off. This allow all 3 to work over Magnum's arm with Jimmy getting a tennis raquet shot to TA's arm. The after match beatdown by the MX of TA and Wrestling 2 was brutal. Jimmy just whipped TA like a dog. The crowd was nuclear here. You couldn't see but you just know they had to fight every inch of the way to the back. The MX was just super in this match making their opponents look great.Plus, this match had a cameo of Mark curtis taking pictures I feel this deserves a nomination.

November 17, 200717 yr comment_5424058 Yeah MX were great at getting the crowd in Houston to want to kill them. Bobby Eaton takes about the highest backdrop I've seen, and Mr. Wrestling 2 is so great in his Dustyish face offense. This was great, and man do I wish we had more II.
December 10, 200717 yr comment_5425009 Mid-South Tag Titles: Magnum TA & Mr. Wrestling II © vs. The Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton) (2/10/84) Simply put this was a phenomenal match as the crowd was nuclear for most of the match and II was just ridiculously great along with a fired up Magnum. MX were fucking awesome here in everything they did and this is a slam dunk nomination.
