Posted August 15, 200718 yr comment_5420691 From House show Volume II This is really a marginal candidate but I think a good example of Hacksaw vs. big foreign heel. I really love all the Hacksaw vs Kimala interaction and there brawls and post match brawls and what not but yet to fins a singles match for those two that really is satisfying and in case we can't then this should go on. Darsow stinks and isn't as good as Kimala but still this feels like a good example of Hacksaw by the numbers walking limited guy through this. They do almost 20 minutes of "stuff" here and if this same match showed up in the WWE it would have made a WWE set and done well. Same day that I watched this I also watched a shitty Jose Lothario v Ken Patera match from Houston. Whatever else you want to say Ken Patera really does a nice job locking his hands together when he puts on full nelson. I really liked Duggan's hip toss escape from bear hug and he did a nice job dramatically building to that spot...but damn does Darsow have a shitty bear hug. Barely bothering to clasp his hands. I don't know if the shittyness of Darsow's bear hug would be as glaring if I hadn't watched the Patera match earlier.
November 9, 200718 yr comment_5423692 I don't think this will make the cut. Darsow just isn't that good and Hacksaw wasn't at the point where he could have kickass brawls with just about anyone yet. No vote.
