Posted August 17, 200718 yr comment_5420805 This match is JIP 3 minutes in. They show a little over 10 minutes of the 13 the match went. I think this is nom worthy. Both guys bleed in this. Murdoch does some great looking offense on Ted's neck. In particlar he rams a chair into his neck 3 or 4 times. That looked so sick and brutal. Along with Murdoch's great work on Ted's neck he also started to try to exploit Ted's cut. Ted sold this ass kicking really well. Ted would make his comebacks with punches, and fist drops working Murdoch's cut. The finish was predictable, but still neat because of Ted escaping the brain buster. Post match we got a beat down of Teddy by Masked Superstar & Murdoch. This was a nicely worked brawl.
September 4, 200718 yr comment_5421464 This is JIP too, but it is good enough to make a set. Basically a brawl, but man are the punch exchanges great, both guys bleed, and Murdoch just kills DiBiase with rabbit punches, and shots to the back of the head with a chair. I kind of like the loaded glove as a face move. They air this twice on this batch of TV, with the second time showing more
November 10, 200718 yr comment_5423796 Man, Murdoch is playing a game of "My fist, your face" and this is awesome. The entire time Dick is on offense, he does nothing but pound on the nexk and face of Dibiase which makes you automatically think back to the brainbuster on the concrete. I agree with Phil that the loaded glove for a face is awesome. Shit, both guys bleed buckets, chairs are involved. Now, the only question is if this one or the 12/31 match will go higher on my ballot. Easy nomination.
November 26, 200717 yr comment_5424529 Ted DiBiase vs. “Capt. Redneck” Dick Murdoch (12/29/85) This was a great bloody brawl with both men throwing some outstanding punches and some great chairshots. I agree with the loaded glove as a face motif as it added something extra to a babyface character. Definite nomination.
