Here's a fun fact I just discovered: Jericho is the only WWE champion who was actually born in New York. That's kind of crazy if you think about it.

That's a good one. I almost wanted to say you forgot Foley, but Wikipedia says he was born in Indiana (quoting an IGN article). I quickly scanned through the first chapters of his bio and he does not mention that there. Actually, he mentions that both his parents were teaching in Setauket in 1964, a year before Mick Foley was born. So if he was born in Indiana, his family could not have stayed long there.

For those who missed it, brother KawadaSmile is referring to Jericho's wife being at the Capitol riots.

Holy shit.

At this rate, Jericho is like the Clint Eastwood of pro-wrestling. He's so cool and great as a pro-wrestler that everyone loves him even though... YIKES !!!!

Nah, the bloom is definitely off the rose with Jericho in every respect. His early NJPW/AEW goodwill with the fans has long evaporated.

Sure, some Twitter stupidity from one year ago... I mean, WWE employs Qanon idiots, homophobes and bigots of all sorts already, I don't see why this would make any difference whatsoever, it wasn't even a story last year at all. He's apparently a big idiot, oh well... One in a crowd of many.

WWE doesn't like it when talent they are looking to sign has a problematic social media history, even if they might agree with what's being said. Just like how Jay Briscoe tweeted himself out of a WWE contract years ago.

Yeah, doing/saying/posting stupid shit before you're in WWE is likely going to prevent you from getting hired. Doing it after will not jeopardize you the same way. Then again, they did cut Lars Sullivan finally.

That was only because he asked out due to his anxiety issues. He was set for a huge push last year before no-showing TV yet again, which is why he disappeared before being released.

I feel for anyone with anxiety issues, but I have to think his career in pro wrestling is over - there's not exactly much of a market for a homophobic gay porn star - but maybe he can get a second chance in Japan down the line?

So if the pregnancy is a shoot, that means there's no way Lacey can wrestle Asuka on Sunday, right?

Seems like the match is definitely off and they haven't provided any update on a replacement...which probably means Asuka won't be defending the title. I instead expect to see a Shayna/Nia vs Naomi/Lana Women's tag title defense in that spot.
