(IF someone has the Lynch list, look at Mid South 1-8 and UWF 1 + 2. I have a gut feeling that we have all that footage already. If not, I need to know. Also, look at MS Raw Footage #3) I need to look through the 1988 and 89 lists to see if there are matches we do not have from our TV collection.
December 11, 200717 yr Author comment_5425087 I am going to make a new Lynch order and am going to focus on Portland, Memphis and the Highlights first. If you have any requests, let me know soon. Also, I sent an email to Friedlander asking if he had any Portland footage from 1985-89. If so, I'll make that a priority as well.
December 12, 200717 yr comment_5425154 Oops, I have one. The Ginnetty version of the 03/20/86 tag with the Crush Girls vs Jumping Bomb Angels has extremely low audio. I guarantee you this will be a definite nomination that will be near the top of most ballots. I also know Lynch has the match on his list. I guess that would be my request. Thanks. Also, along those lines, there is a 12-woman elimination match that went 60 minutes that was one of Jeff Bowdren's Top 100 of the 80s. It's not on the Ginnetty stuff I have, but I know DG was saying at one time he had acquired all of the matches listed. Next time you talk to Dan, can you ask him if he has this match? Date is 12/05/87. EDIT: And yes, I have Los Angeles 1980.
December 12, 200717 yr comment_5425160 Are you stockpiling for future sets way down the road or the sets that we are looking at for the immediate future
December 13, 200717 yr Author comment_5425176 Both... so the Memphis would be immediate. Highlights are something I wanted to pick up so we could start going through comps so we don't miss anything that aren't on traditional territory discs. I want to clean out the Portland to see if there are enough worthy matches to do a full Portland set. Speaking of which, hoopsjohnson, who has released a ton of Portland has very little form 85-89. I am still waiting on a word form Friedlander on if he ahs any Portland from those years.
January 2, 200817 yr Author comment_5426250 Sorta bad news... Lynch corrected his problem with his burner where he doesn't get multiple titles in one disc (which is a good thing) but it also means he has no use for me to convert his American collection which means the cost of ordering these discs now doubles overnight I'll wait to see if he cuts me a deal anyway.
