Fun, intense 5 minute mid card NXT TV match and the Karrion Kross match I've enjoyed the most and that's partly due to how good Oney is at working these. Oney's fireball brief comebacks always deliver as he brings this intense wrecking ball style offense with some nasty slaps and some wild running European uppercuts. Kross always seems timid on offense and you can tell he's always holding back, but Oney does a neat job of bumping for his 1-2 throws. Not a MOTYC or anything, but a fun TV match.

Oney does this match with big guys... the Lars Sullivan one from 2017 is a work of art. Kross managed to bungle this one with his sloppy, week looking offense. This was the match that made me realize I Kross doesn’t do it for me because he was hand-fed a beast match from Oney and he refused to hold up his end. This match also, marks the last time I’m getting Excited about an NXT match.
