April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946183 The most amazing thing about Sasha, to me, is that even when something goes wrong in her matches, it still somehow works. It's an almost Sabu quality. Early on here, there was an obvious bit of anticipation of Bianca putting her up for the atlantida position for the kiss of death, and Sasha was able to escape immediately and even though it didn't look great because of the early anticipation, you bought that it was why Sasha was so easily able to get out. Her matches are just full of bits like that.

April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946190 I love how the truck realized right at the end of that standing SSP replay that she really didn't hit it. Those 450 knees looked crazy though. Great transition.

April 11, 20214 yr Author comment_5946192 I think the crowd is fine here. They are popping huge for Bianca. Problem is they refuse to really boo Sasha. It's the first night back in a year. They really do not want to boo Sasha.
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946194 Are thy piping in noise? there's some random clapping and I'm not sure if it's from the audience.

They've shown the ability to get loud, all the logic suggested there would be a bunch of pent-up heat, and it's not an insane marathon at the end of a show-filled weekend. But lots of perfectly good stuff just isn't working tonight. The crowd is much smaller than it looks on TV. Everything past the lower bowl/floor seats are cardboard cutouts. It's also been raining off and on most of the show, and there's also been piped in noise from time to time.
April 11, 20214 yr Author comment_5946197 Sasha is being supremely unselfish here. Bianca has looked like a billion bucks here
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946198 Like Bunny proved earlier, being a hardcore fan gives you a huge edge in great adaptability and instincts, etc. I realize it's definitely not a full WrestleMania crowd, but the on camera folks were clearly standing up and losing their shit multiple times earlier, and the fake noise has been drowned out quite a few times too.
April 11, 20214 yr Author comment_5946200 SASHA JUST ADAPTED LITERALLY ON THE FLY WITH THE METEORA INTO THE SPLASH HOLY SHIT!!
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946201 Some of the sequences are fucking awesome. Struggling for control is my favorite thing in wrestling.
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946202 The frogsplash isn't clean but it also looked like she nailed her with her knee, etc. The double rotation Tornado DDT was pretty beautiful though.
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946203 Sasha's also great at having a mean streak at any point she feels she needs to amp it up, this is an absolute clinic in a lot of ways.
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946205 Whoops, we lost the plot for a minute there. Thank God that wasn't the finish.
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946206 Had some Brock at 19 flashbacks when she hitched on the ropes before the 450
April 11, 20214 yr comment_5946208 DONT SLAP THE LEG ON THE HAIR SLAP that woke the crowd up for a sec BOTCHED FINISH IN A WOMEN'S WM MAIN EVENT AGAIN?!!?!?
April 11, 20214 yr Author comment_5946209 This might be the most fortuitous match of all-time. What that has done is add a lot of extreme struggle and urgency in the match, as well as much more authentic transitions than usual. It's been excellent
