Spectacular MX comedy spots, as they bump all around for Dundee and Cash. Cash gets amazing height on his butt but, Dundee is spectacular here, as he works really well with both Condrey and his son in law, I loved the backstroke hot tag. Huge smile on my face the entire time, and a slam dunk pick
August 22, 200718 yr comment_5420994 Troy Graham is injured so Bill Dundee is taking his place. I never realized that Troy Graham was ever part of the Mid-South version of the Bruise Brothers. Bill Dundee comedy is just great throughout this constantly befuddling opponents. According to WON Gotch bio, Porkchops Cash was a featured performer on the first New Japan tours. Watching him waste folks with nasty leaping butt butts one can imagen him inspiring a young Koshinaka. Eaton's bumps or the butt butt are also amazingly great. The faces outsmart heels section was so long that I was almost expecting that we wouldn't get a face in peril section but we get a really fun Dunde in peril section as well. Dundee goes for hot tag and instead of rolling tag does a backstroke accross ring.
August 25, 200718 yr comment_5421179 I liked this and had a smile on my face as well. Porkchop has a neat kind of charisma. Both Dundee and Porkchop look good for the 1st 10 minutes or so with the MX stoogeing and bumping around for the 2 of them. The row, row, row your boat star spot on the MX was top notch. Dennis taking a Flair bump off an attempted headbutt to Porkchop was excellent. Eventually the MX take control and just work over Dundee's neck and throat. Dundee's FIP section was great here. All the near tags really added to the heat of the match. This should get on a disk. This was just cool.
September 6, 200718 yr comment_5421555 I assume Phil is mailing this to me as we speak. On the card in 1977 where I saw Harley Race and Dick Murdock wrestle in a high school gym in Little Rock, Porkchops Cash wrestled Eric the Red and beat him with a HEADBUTT!
December 10, 200717 yr comment_5425002 Mid-South Tag Titles: The Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton) © vs. Porkchop Cash & “Superstar” Bill Dundee (4/6/84) Dream Machine had shattered his leg days earlier so Dundee has to step in. This was great stuff with the MX making their opponents look awesome by bumping and selling all over the place. Cash & Dundee really didn’t need the help as they showed a lot of fire and worked really well together. The Dundee FIP section was really great especially the hot tag sequence. The finish was abrupt but still this was a great match and a definite nomination.
