Iron Mike Sharpe vs. Tug Taylor (8/4/82) Big dude battle and Sharpe still in the middle of his push. “Precious†Paul Ellering vs. Billy Starr (8/4/82) Ellering actually didn’t look half bad here and gets the win with the Rude Awakening. Killer Khan vs. Tommy Saxon (8/4/82) Squash. Mr. Olympia vs. Vinnie Romeo (8/4/82) Olympia looks good. Kevin Von Erich vs. Billy Starr (8/18/82) Kevin looked really sharp here. Mid-South Tag Titles: Junkyard Dog & Mr. Olympia © vs. Ted DiBiase & Hacksaw Duggan (8/18/82) The story here is that DiBiase doesn’t want to face JYD in the ring and will only tag in when Olympia is in there or JYD is hurt. Olympia looks good when he is in there and Duggan showed why he was getting a push. It of course ends up in a 4-way brawl with Duggan hitting his spear on Olympia as he makes a tag to JYD who falls to the floor. DiBiase tags in and hits his powerslam/figure-four on Olympia before JYD comes back in the ring and it’s back to a 4-way brawl. JYD then hits the big Thump on DiBiase to retain their titles. I liked this match a lot and it’s a borderline pick for me. Dick Murdoch vs. Tug Taylor (8/18/82) Murdoch is just so fun to watch. Louisiana Heavyweight Title: Killer Khan © vs. Iron Mike Sharpe (8/18/82) Sharpe gets another shot at Khan and this time he wins the title. Khan had Sharpe pinned but Akbar told him to pull Sharpe up so he could piledrive him, which backfired. Sharpe bodyslammed Akbar who hit the referee and it ended up being 2-on-1 until Robley ran out and jumped Akbar. Sharpe got Khan in an inside cradle to win the match. This was pretty fun for what it was. Mr. Wrestling II vs. Mike Bond (8/18/82) Something doesn’t seem right with this II as he just doesn’t work like the normal II does especially when he hit the Million-Dollar Kneelift. It also helps that I look through my archives and II worked a show in Columbus, Georgia the night this was taped. Something stinks in Denmark. Colonel Buckley Christopher George Robley III vs. One Man Gang (8/18/82) Akbar comes out before the match and demands to face Robley himself instead of his men. It’s a fight from the bell and as Robley fights off OMG, Akbar tries to throw fire but Robley dropkicks him for the DQ. Khan comes out and it’s 3-on-1until the faces come out to make the save.

I think this makes it Louisiana Heavyweight Title: Killer Khan © vs. Iron Mike Sharpe (8/18/82) This was shockingly good, not a disc selection, but Killer Khan is pretty much a miracle worker Colonel Buckley Christopher George Robley III vs. One Man Gang (8/18/82) "Nobody calls you Yellah? I'm calling you Yellah"
