Posted August 26, 200718 yr comment_5421213 Man I haven't seen Williams kill anyone like this in Mid-South, this was an O'Days level beating by DiBiase and Williams, Rogers gets slaughtered in the Face in peril section, Williams punches him in the throat, Dibiase is kicking him in the eye, good blowout at the finish too. Really fun TV match, and the beating puts it over the top.
September 3, 200718 yr comment_5421435 I enjoyed this match, but not as much as Phil. It was a little on the short side. That leapfrog clothesline spot that Rogers ate was just brutal. Williams about took his head off. I feel this is a little bit on the low end for a nomination.

November 22, 200717 yr comment_5424389 Ted DiBiase & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) (9/25/85) DiBiase & Doc were at this point in my opinion the best team in the world as they were just brutal asskickers who were destroying fuckers. Fants also look good here too when they are on offense but it’s when Rogers is the FIP is where this match is kicking because Rogers takes a hellacious beating. Doc murdering Rogers with a clothesline after a leapfrog was awesome. Rogers fought and fought to get the hot tag to Fulton but fucked up a sunset flip spot off the middle rope although they rebounded nicely. Doc missed a diving body press off the middle rope and the hot tag was made. Fulton comes in blazing with this turning into a 4-way brawl. Fants hit a double dropkick on DiBiase but he would load up the glove as Doc MURDERED Fulton with a backdrop suplex attempt that was supposed to be an O’Connor Roll. Fulton would rebound but got his jaw jacked with the glove for the victory. I loved this match and yeah it was short and yeah there were some missed spots but goddammit it this was awesome. This moves forward.
