Williams debuts his second rope powerslam • “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Broadway Joe Great Mad Dog training video before this which might make an extra, fun squash where Sawyer debuts his second rope powerslam. Who the fuck books two back to back squashes that both end with a second rope powerslam? • Dick Slater vs. Richard Dunn Slater rules • The Fantastics vs. Dutch Mantell & “Superstar” Bill Dundee This is a shoo baby on a pole match, and was fucking awesome. Dundee is an amazing "on a pole" worker, he has a ton of "on a pole" spots, "on a pole" near falls, "on a pole" reversals, "on a pole teases." He really should be brought in as a road agent anytime Russo gets booking power. DQ ending isn't great, but they do debut the awesome Memphis heel trio of Mantel/Dundee/Eddie Gilbert.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts vs. El Corsario (9/25/85) Akbar is gone so Corsario is on his own and it’s jobbing time. This was a pretty competitive match and Jake was awesome. Ted DiBiase & “Dr. Death” Steve Williams vs. Tony Falk & Pat Rose (9/25/85) Jesus were Doc & DiBiase awesome. Doc using the middle-rope Stampede is tremendous. “Mad Dog” Buzz Sawyer vs. Broadway Joe Malcolm (9/25/85) Destruction with Buzz using a second rope powerslam as well. There is a great Dick Slater video before the next match that is a definite extra. “Mr. Unpredictable” Dick Slater vs. Richard Dunn (9/25/85) Squash. Shoobaby On A Pole: The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. “Superstar” Bill Dundee & “Dirty” Dutch Mantell (9/25/85) The pole was definitely the central part of this match as every time a team would get the advantage they raced for that pole. Dutch using the Fants as stairs was awesome. Dundee took a great bump off the pole when Fulton rammed his head into it. You could feel the hatred here between these two teams and the desperation to get that bullwhip. Gilbert shows up and he grabs the whip for the DQ and they whip on Fulton until Rogers makes the save and whips Dutch. Gilbert then threw powder in Rogers’ face then went back to whipping Fulton again. Rogers then comes back with a steel chair and cleans house. This was great stuff and a definite nomination.
